Our kids came for supper last night.

It is always nice to have them here.
The twins were so excited to see Brayden.
It was precious to see their faces light up when he walked in the door.

Deke has meetings again all day today.
We sell hogs tonight.
I didn't make it to my stamp room at all yesterday- so hope to get there sometime today.

Have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

Oh Christmas Tree......

Good morning!

Here is a pretty Christmas Tree.

I really like this stamp set.  The more I do with it the more I fall in love with it.   I used alot of product out of the Holiday Catalog when I was creating this card.

'Evergreen' & 'More Merry Messages'
cs:  Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler & Champagne Glimmer 12x12 paper
ink:  Versamark & Cherry Cobbler
supplies:  Big Shot, Apothecary Accent Framelit, Holiday Frame embossing folder, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon, dimensionals
WOW!!  Back to reality today.  What a whirl wind of a holiday weekend.  We got alot done, but have lots more that we didn't get checked off of our list.  I will have to stay up some nights this week & get things done.

Yesterday morning I worked on making some personal cards- sympathy, anniversary, birthday- that I needed to get done.  Then in the afternoon Manda, the twins & I enjoyed going to Jenny's party & got a few groceries afterwards.  Deke & I put up our pre-lit tree last night.  We were so bummed that we couldn't get a few of the lights to work on it.  We decided that it would work for this year & we'll buy a new Christmas tree after the holidays when they are on sale & we will throw this one away when we take it down after Christmas.  It is all decorated & looks very pretty!!  I put silver garland beads on it this year instead of my usual tinsel.  It looks different- but nice.  I am so HAPPY that Deke helped me put it up & decorate it this year.

We all have a busy week here.  Deke will be gone during the day to meetings all week for Board of Supervisor stuff, except for Friday.  So that means late nights on the farm as he still has all of the work here to do too when he gets home.  I am still putting stuff away from my November workshops & need to get busy & get my calendars created & cut for my December workshops.  I can't believe that next Sunday will already be my first workshop for the month!!  WOW- seems like November just flew by.  Christmas is now less than a month away.  YIKES....I haven't bought any gifts yet & don't have time to go shopping until after the 15th!

Hope you all have a fabulous day!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!

Peace on Earth

Good morning!
Here is a pretty embossed angel.....

'Rejoicing with You' & 'Greetings of the Season'
cs:  Basic Gray, Whisper White, Champagne Glimmer 12x12 paper
ink:  Basic Gray & Versamark pad
supplies:  Heat Tool, embossing buddy, Gold Embossing powder, Silver Embossing Powder, dimensionals
Yesterday I had a great time with Shanoah, Chelsea & Cheryl figuring out a wedding invite.
It is going to be an elegant victorian wedding.
I love the invites!

When they left I started stamping.
I now have my November & December birthday cards all done!
YIPEE!!
Deke did bring the skid loader down & helped me get rid of our fall flower pots & pumpkins in our yard yesterday afternoon.
I got the christmas wreaths hung up at my doors.
It was chilly out & didn't take much time to get done.

Today I'm hoping Deke & I get our lights up outside on our house since it is to be in the mid 40's.
Then this afternoon I am looking forward to going to a party with Manda at a friend of ours home.
We'll do a quick Walmart run while we are out.
The twins are going with us.
And I'll be stamping every spare minute I'm home.
My table with projects from November parties is still piled high & I have to get it all put away.
Gotta run......

I hope you have a wonderful day!
Happy Stamping!

An Elegant bird......

Good morning!
Here is a card that I got from Shelli & Sara as a swap at Founders.
It is very elegant!
Notice all of the detail in it.
'Gently Falling' & 'Loving Thoughts'
cs:  Naturals White, Island Indigo
ink:  Island Indigo, Versamark pad
marker:  Island Indigo
supplies:  Big Shot, Elegant Bird die, Heat Tool, Gold embossing powder, sponge, Linen Thread, Champagne Shimmer paint, dimensional, Color Spritzer tool
I love it!
It is so the Shelli & Sara style.
I am assuming they made a cut out of the bird die & then used it as a stencil to get the look above- using the Champagne Shimmer Paint & a sponge.

Yesterday I spent most of the day doing bookwork for personal, SU! & farm stuff.
There just aren't enough hours in a day to keep up with things around here.

We did go to my sister Beckie's for supper so that we could visit & see my nephew Ben, his wife Jenna & son Lawson, as we haven't seen them since Easter.
It was a very nice evening!!

I am meeting with Shanoah this morning to work on her wedding invites.
Looking forward to this.

Then I have a mile long list of stamping things that I personally need to get done-
birthday cards, sympathy, anniversary, etc.

Tomorrow I have to go to a friends Thirty One party in the afternoon- but will be working on stamping stuff every spare minute I'm home.....as I need to get things cleaned out of baskets from all of my November workshops so that I can put them away & be able to find things & get ready for Decembers calendar classes.  LOTS to do!!  My first calendar class is a week from Sunday!

Hope you have a fantastic day!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!
