Holiday Tree Decor Wooden Box

Oh I love how this turned out!!

This is a totally Susie project! 

 

I went to a LOTS of Dollar Tree stores to find enough of these wooden boxes!

And I'm so happy that my envision came to life!

 

This is one of the projects that everyone joining me for my

upcoming Holiday Extravaganza class will be making!

 

I used the awesome

This box measures approx. 5 3/4" long by 3 1/4" wide.

What would you put into this box if you were giving it as a holiday gift to someone?

I just added some envelopes here for the photo so that you could see 

how it would work great to add some hand made cards into & give to a friend!

But you could add candy & LOTS of other gift type items to it too!

I die cut them & then embossed each of them.

Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder decor

I made these 6x6" decor pieces to attach to a 6x6 tile using velcro dots.

Abundant Joy Large Gold Hoop Ornament

These are the supplies I used!

How did I do it?

*Cut a piece of twine that was approx. 18" long.

*Cut a glue dot in half & rolled them.

*Put one of them at the bottom of the hoop & one at the top of the hoop to hold/secure the twine.

*Adhere dimensionals to the backside of both ornaments as shown above. 

*Put the 2 ornaments together.

I make ornaments each year for our family members.

This is the ornament that I'll be making for everyone!

Autumn Trees Fall card

Here is a gorgeous Fall card!

I love the way it turned out.

It is a totally Susie card.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me at my upcoming

Holiday Extravaganza class will be making. 

This is a "tent fold" card.

Check out how it stands up!

 

The important part about adhering this card together is to use your grid paper.

How did I do it? 

*Line the bottom edge of the Mossy Meadow at the 0" 

*Adhere the layered tree piece to this, but MAKE SURE you don't put the top higher than the 5 1/2" mark, as you can't your card to be able to fit into our standard envelope.

*Thus the card still measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" when it is completed! 

Check out how I colored the tree.

1.  Die cut tree

2.  Using Stamparatus- stamp tree using Pecan Pie ink pad

3.  Color trunk & branches of tree using Bronze Stampin' Blend

4.  Color leaves on the tree using Sponge Daubers with Mossy Meadow & Cajun Craze ink.

NOTE:  Lightly tap ink onto the tree, as less is better.  

You can always go back & add more if you need to.

Floral Impressions Fun Fold Birthday card

Check out this pretty flowery card!

It would be a great card for many different occasions- 

so you can just change the words to whatever you are needing a card for.

This card has a fun "inside" accordion fold!

Cool huh! 

Notice how the front & the back of the cards are attached to this center accordion piece.

How did I do it? 

Here is the pattern for the center accordion fold.

And I'm also showing you where/how this is attached to the card front & the card back.

 

5 x 8 1/2"- score at 3 3/4" & 7 3/4".

Add adhesive & attach to the 2 pieces of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" Fresh Freesia

card stock- as these are your card front & your card back. 

This card is so bright & cheery!

It just makes me smile!

• 'Thankful Garden' (words on inside of card) 

card stock:

• Fresh Freesia- 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"- (x2)- one of these is card front & the other is used as the card back

• Fresh Freesia- 2" strip- punch out with Labeled with Love Punch.  Then cut this in half horizontally & attach to the back side of the words so that this is now layered!
