When I first saw this stamp set I knew I just had to have it!

Isn't it cool!

 

I know I have had several friends diagnosed with breast cancer over the years.

So this is very near & dear to my heart.  

As I'm sure most of you have known someone that has had breast cancer too. 

  

This is the Stampin' Up! 'Making the the Difference' product for this year.

Autumn Trees Fall card

 

Here is a beautiful Fall tree!

I love the way it turned out!

This is a totally Susie card.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone stamping with me

at my October monthly classes will be making! 

 

I used the 

#165900- Autumn Tree Bundle= $56.50

 

This is a fun fold gate dutch door fold.

It opens up like this. 

Notice how the top comes upward

And then you open up the 2 little 'doors' along the bottom.

It looks like this when it is opened up all the way.

 

Notice the pretty leaves?

How did I do them?

 

*I used Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive ink pads.

*With Blending Brushes add dots to Basic White card stock as shown above.

*Now die cut the leaves & adhere them to the tree.

This is what the leaves look like when they are die cut.

Cool huh!

card stock:

• Pecan Pie- 4 1/4 x 8 3/4"- Score at 5 1/2" for card base
• Pecan Pie- 2 1/4 x 8 1/2"- score at 2 1/8" & 6 3/8"- adhere to the bottom inside of the card base to make the gate fold 'doors'. 
• Pecan Pie- 4 x 5 1/4"- stamp & die cut tree
• Old Olive- 3 3/4 x 5"
• Old Olive- 1 x 3 3/4"- rip along the top edges tearing towards you so get a nice torn edge
• Crumb Cake- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- emboss using the So Swirly Embossing Folder
• Pumpkin Pie- 1 1/2" strip- stamp pumpkin onto & fussy cut it out with Scissors.  I added lines onto the pumpkin with Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.  And I colored the stem using the Bronze Stampin' Write Marker.
• Basic White-  3 x 3 1/2"- add circle 'dots' onto using Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie ink pads & Blending Brushes
  Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card

How did I make it?

I used a retired Tulip Builder Punch for the ghost body.

And I used the 'Gingerbread Man' stamp set to stamp the eyes/mouth.

Gingerbread Man Scarecrow

 I think that this little scarecrow is so cute!!

He makes me smile. 

 

I used the 

#165785- Gingerbread Man Bundle= $54.00

 

How did I do it? 

 

NOTE:  When I stamped the gingerbread man I did NOT add ink to the 

very bottom of himas I didn't want ink to be on his legs/feet. 

 

To make his bib overalls I die cut the gingerbread man body,

cut off the arms, die cut scallops along bottom of the pant legs

& made his straps by cutting out of the center with scissors.

 

For the pumpkin I inked it in Pumpkin Pie ink pad,

carefully wiped off the stem & added Old Olive ink over it

and then stamped onto Basic White card stock.

I used scissors to fussy cut it out.

 

NOTICE the patch on his knee.

I used a little piece of the

#165903- Irregular Weave 3/8" Trim.
