Paper Tags Fun Fold Flap card

Isn't this a cute fun fold card?

It is a totally Susie card & I love the way it turned out! 

I used the 

 #165462- PAPER TAGS BUNDLE= $46.75 Online Exclusive

 

Check out how I made a fun starburst on the card front too.

I used 2 x 4" pieces of card stock & diagonally cut them in half.

I adhered them to a piece of 2 3/4 x 5 1/4" Basic White card stock 

& then trimmed off around the edges.

Here what the starburst looks like on the card front.

Cool huh!

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up.

Notice how I cut the top & bottom corners out of the card front

& then attached the tag to that 'flap' piece.

 

Below are a couple of photos so you can see the pattern

on how I made this fun fold card, so that you can make it too! 

5 1/2 x 8 1/2" card base- score at 4 1/4" & 7 1/4"

NOW you will cut out 1 1/4" squares out of each of the corners.

For the tag I stamped it in VersaMark ink pad, onto Basic White card stock

& then used Black Embossing Powder & heat set it.

It is nice & shiny!

I used my Darling Duckling Stampin' Write Marker 

to highlight some of the words on the tag.

• Basic Black- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & 7 1/4"- fold for card base.  Cut 1 1/4" squares out of top & bottom front corners as shown in pattern above.
• Basic White- 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"- adhere triangle yellow CS pieces to this to make the starburst & then adhere to Basic Black card front
• Basic White- 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card as shown in the photo above
• Basic White- 2 1/2 x 4 1/4"- stamp tag onto using Versamark ink pad, heat emboss with Basic Black Embossing Powder & die cut tag.
• Daffodil Delight- 2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Crushed Curry- 2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Lemon Lolly- 2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Darling Duckling-  2 x 4"- diagonally cut

I think it is so cool how the lid can be placed on or off of this jar.

What would you put in a jar if you were making this card?

 

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Sweet Jar'

card stock:

• Strawberry Slush- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 2 1/4"; 4 1/2" & 7 3/4"- z fold for card base
  
• Strawberry Slush- 3 x 3" (x2)
  
• Strawberry Slush- 1" strip- punch out hearts
• Basic White- 2" strip- stamp jar/lid & punch punch- then stamp hearts inside the jar
  
• Basic White- 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" (x2)
• Basic White- 3 x 4"- for inside of card
