I love blue & I love snowflakes!

Isn't this a pretty card!

This is a totally Susie card.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone attending my upcoming

November stamp-a-stack card classes will be making.

I used the

#164218- Frozen Edges stamp set= $24.00 Holiday Catalog pg. 50

#164325- Greetings of the Seasons- $25.00 Online Exclusive

and for the inside I used a retired stamp set- 'Throughout the Year'.

 On the inside I made a pocket for a gift card.

It looks like this.

 

How did I do it?

*Score the bottom of the card at 1".

*Used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch & made a partial punch along the edge.

*I used Tear & Tape to secure the edges to hold the 'pocket' secure.

 

Check out the cool label/tag die I used.

It is from the

Notice how I added a strip of Boho Blue card stock thru the slits in the label/tag.

Snowy Wonder Snowman

 

Isn't this little snowman just SO CUTE!

I just love the way this turned out.

This card could be used for many different occasions by just changing the words.

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me

Notice how you can see the white on the Pool Party embossed snowflakes?

I used the Two-Toned Pool Party card stock, embossed it & then 

lightly sanded it with some fine sandpaper to show off these snowflakes.

Cool huh!

Triple Stamping with snowflakes

Check out this pretty snowflake card!!

It is so elegant & so simple to make.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me at my

Holiday Extravaganza class got to make.

 

I used the

#164318- Frozen Edges stamp set= $24.00 Holiday Catalog pg. 50

#164296- Christmas Labels stamp set= 24.00 Holiday Catalog pg. 40 

 

This is a fun technique called Triple Stamping.

 

 Check out the photos below........

How did I do it?

*Cut 3 different pieces of Basic White card stock in various sizes.

*Notice how I laid them over each other.

*Now using a Night of navy ink pad, stamp onto these pieces with the snowflake stamp.

*Notice that I stamped over the different edges of them all as shown in the photo.

*This is what it looks like when I got the snowflakes all stamped.

*Now layer each white card stock layer with pieces of

Night of Navy card stock.

This is what the card looks like when it is all stamped & layered.

Wow!

Neat huh!

 

I added some ribbon & snowflake embellishments to finish it off!

Pleated Curtain fold leaf card

This is one of the cards that everyone made 

at my Holiday Extravaganza class.

Here is the pattern on how I made the fun pleated curtain fold.

*4 x 6" DSP

*Score at 2 3/4"; 3 1/4"; 4 1/4" & 4 3/4".

*Then diagonally cut from the bottom 2 3/4" score mark

to 1 3/4" from the top right edge of the card corner

as shown in the photo pattern above.

This embossing folder can die cut & emboss the leaf (leaves)

at the same time.  

It is called a Hybrid Embossing folder & so cool!

Susie's Annual Holiday Extravaganza

WOW!

Here is a photo I took yesterday morning as I was finishing 

setting up for everyone to walk in the door & spend the day stamping with me.

As yesterday was a fun filled day with many friends!

Everyone attending made 17 holiday projects.

Some of the projects were cards!

And some of the projects were decor.

We had an awesome day together!

I'm so thankful that they helped! 

My whole family helps out in many ways throughout the year
