Wow- is it really Friday already?
Where did this week go?
Here is a cute little Halloween box that everyone at my Halloween Treats class
will be making on Sunday!
Wait until you see how easy it is to make.
It is a one sheet wonder box!
Totally awesome!
Totally awesome!
'Toile & Trouble'
cs: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla
ink: Pumpkin Pie & Versarmark
dp: Witches Brew
supplies: Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, Heat & Stick powder, embossing buddy, Heat Tool, Black Glitter, dimensionals, glue dots, bone folder, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Basic Black 3/4" Chevron ribbon
How did I make the box??
Use one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock.
1. Using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score on the short side at 2 1/2" & 6".
2. Turn sheet of cardstock & score the long side at 4 1/2" & 6 1/2".
3. Prefold along score lines several times both ways so that the box will come together easier.
4. Using the Diagonal Scoring Plate- make a diagonal line from all 4 corners of the rectangle box bottom, to the outside edge of the card stock.
5. Use a bone folder to really make the diagonal folds "sharp" and easier to fold the sheet into a box.
6. Stamp your cardstock if you desire.
7. Prefold the box by bringing the diagonal folds towards the box center.
(I did use a little adhesive & glue dots to stick my box together-
although you wouldn't have to.)
8. Decorate your box as desired.
9. Use a hole punch to add ribbon holes in the top center of the back panel of the box.
10. Thread ribbon through the holes & tie to hold your box shut.
Woo Hoo......your box is complete!
I will be enjoying my day today with the boys!
They love being outside playing on these awesome fall days.
I don't know what we are going to do when it is too cold out this winter.
Deke is busy on the farm today getting ready for our new baby piggies that we get
next Tuesday & Thursday!
Tonight I'll be cutting away getting ready for my Halloween Treats class.
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!
