Post-It-Note Gifts

I made these little post-it-note gifts at my Holiday Extravaganza Class.

They are so cute & so easy to make!

NOTE:  This Green card stock in retired.....

I think it is Gumball Green, but not positive.

I chose to use it as it matched the ink pen colors.

This is the pattern I made-

1. Real Red- 3 1/4 x 7 3/8" 
2. Score at 3 1/8", 3 1/2" & 3 7/8"
3. Fold on score lines.
4. Then make 2 cuts between the score lines to make the pen holder.
5. Now add Tear & Tape between the score lines on the right side, as shown above.  Be sure you don't add it to the little center piece that will pop out & hold your pen!

Gift card holder

 Here is another gift card holder for you......

as we near our countdown to Christmas!

I used the Delicate Baubles Dies.

WOW huh!

 This is what it looks like opened up!

I just used a 1 1/4 x 5 1/4"- of DSP to make this pocket.

NOTE:  That you'll only want to used adhesive along the 3 edges 

so that you'll form the "pocket" to slide your gift card/money into.

 I used the Basic Border Dies along the edge to cut it off so that 

the DSP on the inside edge would show!

Here are the supplies & measurements:

stamp set:  'Perfectly Plaid' (words on inside of card)

card stock:

• Evening Evergreen- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- die cut approx 1" off of top card edge using the Basic Boarders Dies

Gift card pouch

 I am continuing our countdown to Christmas.....

check out today's gift card pouch!

I used the 'Perfectly Plaid' stamp set & coordinating Pine Tree Punch!

I also used the Heartwarming Hugs DSP!

This is the how I made the pouch.

I cut a little off of the top using the Basic Border Dies

& then used Tear & Tape along the edges.

 

You could put some other type of items in this pouch too.

• Old Olive- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- die cut approximately 1" off of the top using the Basic Border Dies

Deer Gift Card Holder

 We are on our count down to Christmas!

It is only a few days away.

So last night I made this quick gift card holder to share with you-

just in case you needed to make one for a last minute gift!

I used thee Deer Builder Punch, along with the Sweet Stockings DSP!

 

I made this so that the top DSP flap would latch underneath the right edge of the circle!

Noticed how I used the Basic Borders Dies to make the top edge a little shorter.

This is what it looks like opened up.

See how I made the pocket to slide the gift card/or cash into!

NOTE:  When adhering this pocket to the card base, just make sure that you

only use adhesive long the 3 edges.

This is the pattern that I used for the DSP pocket.

It is 4 x 4 1/4"- scored at 2" along the 4" side.

I then did a partial punch out using the Everyday Label Punch.

I adhered the DSP pocket to the INSIDE of the card edge.

Peaceful Cabin Ornament

Check out this pretty wood ornament I decorated with Stampin' Up! products!!

 

I used the Peaceful Cabin Bundle, along with the Whimsy & Wonder DSP!

 

When my sister-in-law Sheryl was staying with us for a week in October,

we got together with a few friends & stamped.

We all made this ornament together.

Isn't it just gorgeous!

How did I do it?

• It is a wood ornament that I got ordered on line.
• Used my Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend & colored along the edges of the wood, so that it was blue.
• Traced the ornament & cut out a circle from the Whimsy DSP
• Used the Snowy White Velvet Sheets along the bottom for the snow, making a partial circle.  
• Stamped the cabin & trees onto a 2 3/4" strip of Basic White card stock, using Misty Moonlight Ink & die cut the images.
• Made a smoke image out of Vellum, cutting it with scissors.
• Punched out a few little stars from the Starlit Punch, out of Vellum.
• Found an OLD (retired) little snowman in my stamp stash, stamped it in Misty Moonlight ink & cut it out with scissors.
• Used Silver  Cord from the Simply Elegant Trim for the ornament to hang with.

I decorated the back of the ornament like this.

I used:

• Misty Moonlight card stock & embossed with the pine image from the Christmas Pinecone Dies.
• Basic White card stock- die cut image from the Encircled in Beauty Dies.
• Stamped words from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set onto Basic White card stock, using Misty Moonlight ink & die cut with the Layering Circle Dies.

Tidings of Christmas Pinwheel Christmas Card

 This is a pinwheel pattern using the Tidings of Christmas DSP.
WOW!

I love it & hope you do too!

It is so pretty & really not that hard to make.

This is one of the cards that everyone made at my Holiday Extravaganza class.

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up.

Notice how I used the Wintry 3D (Pine) Embossing Folder underneath the words.

I made this template to help layout out the blocks & get them straight.

 Each DSP Square Block is 1 1/4 x 1 1/4".

You need 8 different squares to make this one pattern.

The key to making this pinwheel pattern is to make sure 

all of your squares stay straight & everything lines up in the center.
