Radiating Stitches Dies

I just whipped up this card for Deke.

Today is our 39th Anniversary!

 

I used the-

#161595- Radiating Stitches Dies= $30.00

#161242- Tropical Leaf stamp set= $20.00

#158130- Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels= $7.50

 

Notice how I did NOT die cut the outside stitched rectangle.

Instead I EMBOSSED with it, 

using 2 Silicone Craft Sheets & a Specialty Plate.

• Basic Gray- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half.  Emboss using the Radiating Stitches Dies.

• Polished Pink- 2" strip- die cut stitched heart

Seaside Bay Bundle

WOW- have you seen the awesome 'Seaside Bay' Bundle!

#160445- Seaside Bay Bundle= $54.00 pg. 23 Spring Mini

 

I just love how this oyster shell is one that can open up!

Check out how I added a pearl to the inside of it.

I also stamped these cool words inside of it too.

On the inside I stamped some some shells & sand.

Notice how I die cut the front piece using the

#155559-  Picture This Dies= $34.00- Annual Catalog pg. 173.

I then embossed the die cut piece, using the 

#154309- Seashells Embossing Folder= $9.00.

AND 

Then I used a Blending Brush & light rubbed Balmy Blue ink OVER

the top of the embossed Seashells.

Naturally Gilded Embossed Resist Technique

Here is a gorgeous card.

I did a fun embossed resist technique I did using the 

#161639- Naturally Gilded 12x12" Specialty DSP= $ 10.00.

 

I used an embossing folder on the front of the card-

#161598- Basic 3D Embossing Folder (set of 3)= $30.00.

NOTE:  These are currently out of stock & will be available again around 5/1/23.

using this Naturally Gilded Specialty DSP, doing the embossed resist technique!

The DSP comes white & colored it black!

 

How did I do this?

NOTE:  This is messy, you might want to wear rubber gloves or use kleenex to hold down the DSP, so that you don't touch it & get ink all over!

 *I drug/rubbed my Memento ink pad directly across the foiled DSP. 

 *I then took a kleenex & wiped over the top of the whole piece of DSP.  

By doing this- it will remove the ink that is on the copper embossed part 

to make it shiny again!

Elegant Borders Dies

Notice how I stamped the flower/leaves border on a piece of 

Basic White CS that measures 4 x 5 1/4".

I then added Tear & Tape to the top side of it & the backside of the front flap.

This attached the front Polished Pink card front flap & the inside piece together

to make the card front!

Isn't this just so pretty!

It is a simple yet elegant card.

stamp sets:  'Decorative Borders' & 'Happy Labels'

card stock:

• Polished Pink- 5 1/2 x 6 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & die cut along the very edge of the front flap.  I then shadow stamped little flowers onto the top side of the card front using Polished Pink ink onto Polish Pink card stock.
  
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- stamp flowers along the bottom edge, color with blends.  Then attach this to the Polished Pink front flap to make the card front. 
  
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card.

• Shaded Spruce- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & fold in half for card base
  
• Shaded Spruce- 2 1/2" strip- die cut scalloped circle
  
• Parakeet Party- 2 1/4" strip- die cut circle & emboss with the Dots embossing folder
  
• Parakeet Party- 3 3/4 x 5"- stamp cluster of clovers in the upper left corner & then emboss the dots
  
• Basic White- 2" strip- stamp clover onto & die cut circle
  
• Basic White- 5/8 x 3 1/2"- stamp words onto & flag ends with Banners Pick A Punch
  
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
