Soft Pastel Chalks with Butterfly Brilliance

 Here is a quick z fold card using the 'Butterfly Brilliance' Bundle.

On this card I was playing with Soft Pastel Chalks.

For the background of the card- I stamped the butterflies

onto Daffodil Delight card stock, using Versamark Ink.

I then used a Blending Brush added the dark yellow chalk to make them darker.

For the butterfly, I stamped onto Vellum using Stazon On Ink Pad.

And then colored on the back side of the stamped image with 

the light & dark Yellow Soft Pastel Chalks & a Blender Pen.

I added Wink of Stella to the butterfly on the front side for a little sparkle.

And then die cut a solid butterfly out of Basic White card stock

and adhered my colored Vellum butterfly to it.

Shadow Stamping with Forever Fern!

I just love it!

WOW- Look at these 2 cards.

They are both the same.....other than they are done in 2 different ways with 

the Shadow Stamping Technique!

 

#1- first card=  I used the Stamparatus for this, so that I could get precise stamping.

It is a tone on tone with the same ink & card stock.

I stamped the leaves in Mint Macaron ink, onto the Mint Macaron card stock.

I then cleaned my stamp & inked it in White Craft Ink & stamped directly over the leaves in the exact same spot!

#2-second card=  This is Basic Shadow stamping.  

I stamped the leaves onto the Basic White card stock using the Mint Macaron ink pad.  

Then without reinking it- I moved the image a little upward & stamped it again.

Shadow Stamping creates depth & movement!

Soft Pastels with Biggest Wishes!

 Check out this fun card using the Soft Pastels Chalks!

I used the Hello Embossing Folder & rubbed the chalks over the top of it!

The words are from the 'Biggest Wishes' stamp set! 

You can see another card with the Soft Pastel Chalks by CLICKING HERE!

 Didn't it turn out neat!

I had a hard time photographing it as the words are actually more defined 

in person than I can capture in my photos of it!

I wanted a smaller tag- so I cut this one apart & then I re-glued it! 

This tag is from the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

Yay- another way to make more uses of these dies! 

This is what the tag looks like after I cut it & glued it together!

You can't tell unless you look really closely that I altered it can you!

 I tried adding the chalk to the Basic Black card stock.....

but I didn't like it near as well as I did with the Basic White card stock!

The words on the Basic Black card stock were not near as defined as 

it was with the Basic White card stock.

Poppin' Pastels with Delicate Dahlias!

 I am lovin' coloring with the NEW Soft Pastel Chalks!

They can be found in the Annual Catalog on page 126!

#154585= $9.00

Have you noticed them?

They are a hidden gem!

This technique is called the Poppin' Pastel Technique!

How did I do it?

1. Stamp flower outline image in Black Memento ink pad.
   
2. Stamp solid flower image over the top of this, using VERSAMARK INK ink pad.
3.  Using the edge of my scissors I just scrapped a little bit of the Soft Pastel Chalk powder off onto my Silicone Craft Sheet.
4. I then colored my flower & leaves with Sponge Daubers by tapping on the powder.
5. I did end up adding a little more chalk in the center of the flower & onto some of the lines in the flower & leaves to make it a little darker, by using my Blender Pen.
   
6. I added a little Wink of Stella!
7. And then fussy cut out the flower & leaf images using my scissors.

Holiday Catalog SNEAK PEEK!

This is part of what I made, to put onto a card front.

Sweet Peach Suite!

I love the layout & way these peach cards turned out.

I used the Sweet Peach Suite!

Notice the stitched leaves.

I used the Stitched Greenery Die for them!

I just LOVE IT! 

 

My peaches are all different.....

 I inked the peaches in the Pale Papaya ink pad & then took a 

sponge dauber & tapped on some Calypso Coral ink pad.

 

I stamped them onto a strip of Basic White card stock & then die cut them out!
Notice the shading in my peaches.

Each one of them is different!

One peach or Two?

I think that they are both super cute!

Adding the stem/leaves to the peach top sure completes the peach!
