'Waterfront'

Well-  yesterday was an amazing SPRING like day- FINALLY!!!  The kids LOVED it & so did I.  We played outside yesterday a couple of different times, for a few hours.  It was wonderful to get out of the house & run off some energy.  They had FUN!  YEAH!!!!!!

So today's card is my spring sunset card, using the amazing 'Waterfront' stamp set!  How fun, easy & pretty this set is to use.  And the possibilities & results are endless!!
Honestly- this looks like my back road drive to Manda's house.  But I see the sun coming up every morning!  It reminds me of this photo!  I'll have to make a card & share it with that in mind sometime.

This just looks like it is a photo out of a book.  I love it!

stamp sets:  'Waterfront', 'Friendships Sweetest Thoughts' (words on front), 'High Tide' (birds)
card stock:
  • Old Olive- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"
  • Basic Black-  5 1/4 x 4"
  • Whisper White-  5 x 3 3/4" (x2)- for inside & outside of card
inks:  Black Memento, Old Olive, Cajun Crazy, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango
other:  Sponge Daubers, Dimensionals

So this card is my first attempt......I thought I got a little too much sponging in the sky.  So I wasn't going to share it, but decided I'd go ahead & show you anyways.  It is still pretty isn't it!  It is just a little darker in the sky.
+++++++
Yesterday was a busy & good day with all of the kids.  Deke worked in the filed again until after midnight.  And I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.

This morning Deke is up early to get chores done & head to the field to get as much done as he can before it rains today.  I'm up early to get some cleaning done before I head out the door to Manda's.  I'll take the twins to school & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight when the kids are gone I'll be hurrying to get tables, chairs & projects set up!  As I have stampin' at our home here tonight!!  I have a house full coming & I am looking forward to seeing everyone & stamping!  I have 6 super cute cards created!!  Woo hoo!!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

NEW COLOR COLLECTION- available June 1st, 2018!

At our Stampin' Up! On Stage event that I attended in Wisconsin last weekend, we were told about the NEW Color Revamp that will be starting on June 1st, 2018!  Just take a look at ALL of these beautiful colors together!!  Some of the previous colors are retiring.  And some of the previous colors are moving to another color family!  And then some of old retired In Colors are coming back to be a permanent color in our Color Collection!  WOW- lots of new changes!  It is awesome!!

I know I am SUPER EXCITED about this new Color Revamp!!  I got to pre-order them & my order arrived yesterday!!  They are all just gorgeous together!!

I am sad that some of my favorite old colors are retiring, just as I'm sure you are too!  But with all of these new choices I'm sure we'll end up having a new favorite color!

Check out the New In Colors & the In Colors from last year!  WOW!!!  I got my New In Colors yesterday too that I pre-ordered.  And I can't wait to find time to create with all of my new things!!

Which Color is your favorite out of these?
Leave me a comment!
I'd love to know what you are liking!

Along with the Color Revamp, we are also getting a new style of ink pad!!
It just pops up to open.  I think you'll love it!!

So here is a close up look at the 12 new Core Colors added to our collection!
I have them in the photo at the very top of this post, with all 40 colors.
But it is easier to see them when they are pulled out individually here.

'Birthday Wishes for You'

Here is another card that I did as a project for my team & other demonstrator friends to make while we were in Milwaukee last weekend.

This stamp set only has 2 stamps in it- but it is so cute!  I like the big font size, along with the flagged banners it has in it.
stamp set:  'Birthday Wishes for You'
card stock:
  • Tranquil Tide- 4 1/4 x 11"; 1/2" strips (to stamp banners on & fussy cut out with Paper Snips)
  • Night of Navy- 2" strip for punch; 4 1/4 x 2 1/4"
  • Very Vanilla- 4 x 5 1/4" (for inside of card); 4 x 2"

Yesterday was quite the day.  It just seemed that everything I did, didn't go as planned.  Drake was still sick.  So I spent my day with the 2 little ones.  And Brody was here for awhile after school.  I burnt the midnight oil stamping!  And Deke burnt the midnight oil in the field.  Nathan, Sarah & the kids went racing.  Nathan got 4th in his heat & ended up in a wreck & not finishing the main.  Tough luck being his first night on the track in 2018.  Hope he can get it fixed & we all plan to go racing next Wednesday night in Osky for their season opener.

Some good news from yesterday is that my mom's heart cath was clear......so she was home mid afternoon.  So thanks for the prayers!

This morning Deke is headed out to chore & then spend the day in the field.  I'm up early to stamp some.  I'll then go to town to get the boys & take the twins to school.  I'll spend my day with the 3 little ones.  And tonight the 3 big boys will ride the bus here after school.  I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping again when everyone is gone.

I hope you have a great Thursday!
Happy Stamping!

We burnt the midnight oil again last night.  I was stamping & Deke was in the field.

This morning we are up early.  Deke is headed out to chore & off to Mt. Pleasant for a meeting there.  I'm up early to work on stamp stuff & then head out to town to get the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Hopefully the twins go to school today- as Drake was sick yesterday & Manda took him to the dr yesterday afternoon.  And then Brody fell at recess & hurt his ankle- so hopefully he can walk on it & it is better this morning.  I'm so ready for Spring & healthy kids.

Tonight our plan as now is be in town at 6:30 for the twins first soccer game.  I'll hurry home & burn the midnight oil stamping again.  I have 3 classes this weekend & lots yet to do.  And Deke plans to work in the field again late tonight.   But there is alot going on today, so who knows if things will all go as planned or not.

Please keep my mom in your prayers today.  She has heart catheter procedure done.  If there is a blockage, as they think there is, then she'll have a stint put in & have to stay over night.  I hope everything goes well.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This morning Deke is off to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to pick up the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight the boys will be here after school for awhile.  When everyone is gone home I'll be a busy bee trying to catch up on everything from being gone & getting ready for all of my upcoming stamp classes that I have this week!

Yesterday was a busy day with pigs & then kids.  We ran errands yesterday morning & the boys both rode with Papa in the tractor for awhile too.  We finally got our Easter Egg hunt done after the boys got home from school.  It was really nice outside!  I'm so glad that they got to finally do it.  It was fun!  Brayden was excited that he got to spend some time with his 4-H pigs & then he stayed for awhile to ride in the tractor with Papa.

When everyone was gone I worked on swaps & shoe box swaps.  And Deke worked late in the field.

This morning I'm up early to finish working on things to take with me & pack.  As I'm headed to Milwaukee here pretty soon with my downline- Betty, Cindy & Lorraine.  We'll connect with other downline & sidelines there.  Tonight Christy, Tara & I will be going to our leaders supper/event.  And then tomorrow all of us will be attending On Stage all together.  It will be a fun & busy weekend!  I hope to learn lots of things to share with everyone when I get home.

NOTE:  I am not sure I'll be posting anything until after I get back home from Milwaukee.  I don't know if we'll have internet in the hotel or not.  If I can, I'll post & share.  If I don't- you'll know why.  I forsure will be post if I can.  We head home early on Sunday morning- hopefully beating expected snow that we are to be getting.

Gotta run.......
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

  • I inked the top side of the Embossing folder with Crumb Cake ink.
  • I put the card stock into the Embossing Folder.
  • I ran it through my Big Shot

Yesterday was a busy day with kids & then I worked on the farm last night helping Deke sort pigs & do some things he couldn't do alone.  When I got in I worked on my pile of bookwork.

This morning we are up early at 4 am to head out the door.  We sell hogs this morning, so will mark, sort & load them.  I'll then go pick up the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  The 3 big boys will be here after school today.  And I'm hoping the weather is nice & we can do their Easter Egg Hunt- that we haven't gotten to do yet.  Tonight when the kids go home I'll be packing & getting ready to head out tomorrow morning!  I'm going to Wisconsin to a Stampin' Up! On Stage event for the weekend.  Several on my team & several adoptees will be joining me!

'Flirty Flowers'

Is it really Spring?  Well- the weather sure doesn't seem like it.  But check out these flowers!  They make me think of Spring.  And I love the font & words in this stamp set- 'Flirty Flowers' too!

Check out the gorgeous black designer paper.  It is from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP in the annual catalog on page 188.
I colored these flowers with my Stampin' Blends.  But you could easily use the Stampin' Write Markers on them too!

stamp set:  'Flirty Flowers
card stock:  Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black, Whisper White
designer paper:  Whole Lot of Lovely
ink:  Black Memento
Stampin' Blends:  Light Calypso Coral, Light Pool Party, Light Old Olive, Dark Daffodil Delight

Did you notice the little added black triangle layers behind the white square?  This is an old scrapbooking thing I use to do & thought it was perfect to add just that little bit of added color here on this card!

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  Last night I burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to his courthouse office.  I'm up early to go get the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight when everyone has gone home I'll be burning the midnight oil again stamping.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Another 'Lovely As A Tree'

Last week I need lots of sympathy cards.  Here is one I did, using the Stampin' Blends to color it.
Talk about fast & easy!  I was amazed!  This stamp set- 'Lovely As A Tree' has been around for many years.  It is one of my favorite stamp sets & a "go to" for guy cards, sympathy cards & fall cards".
I paired it up with the 'Thoughts & Prayers'.  It too is another awesome "must have" stamp set.

(NOTE:  I do apologize for sharing a card using the Stampin' Blends, as they are currently on unorderable status right now, until around the end of May.  They have been a very popular item & many of them were on back order.  So add them to your wish list!!  You'll want to buy them when they are available again if you don't already have them.)
stamp sets:  'Lovely As A Tree' & 'Thoughts & Prayers'
card stock:  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
designer paper: Wood Textures 6x6 DSP stack
ink:  Chocolate Chips & Black Memento
Stampin' Blends:  Bronze- to color the White Accents & the tree trunk, Dark & Light Old Olive
other:  Burlap ribbon, Glue Dots, Perfect White Accents- colored with the Bronze Stampin' Blend, 2 1/4" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

Yesterday was a busy day!  I spent most of my day on the farm, helping Deke, as we got new baby piggies in.  I got inside, just in time to jump in the shower & get things done for supper, as our kids/grandkids were all here last night for our Easter get-to-gether.  The kids played games & had fun with some of their new toys they got in their Easter baskets.  I have eggs ready for their Egg Hunt, but it was cold & windy out- so we delayed that until they get here after school on Thursday- as I think it will be warmer out then.

This morning I'm off to pick up the 3 Seeley boys.  And then get the 3 Wood kids.  They will all 6 be here today, as there isn't any school again today.  They were making their plans last night for everything they wanted to do.

We didn't have too good of luck yesterday.  Deke's farm scout broke & we just got it back a couple of weeks ago from being repaired, so he's going to have to run it back to the dealer sometime today.  And somehow today I've got to either go try to find or call & find a new deep freeze.  As our deep freeze quit yesterday- so I'm hoping I can get a new one delivered sometime today, so we don't end up loosing any of our meat.  And then I'll have to get our old one all emptied out & everything put back into our new one.

Tonight when the kids have all gone home I have LOTS of stamping stuff I've got to get done!!  And if we don't get any rain, Deke hopes to be in the field.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

I pretty much stamped every spare minute I had all weekend.  I got alot done, but not near enough.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm up early to work on trying to get some more stamping stuff done.  The kids don't have school again today, for Easter break.  And we have baby piggies coming again today.  They'll be here around noon, so I'll be working outside all afternoon with Deke on our farm.

Tonight we'll have our Easter with our kids/grandkids here.  So hoping the boys can have their egg hunt outside.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
