'Get Your Santa On' is a Holiday Sneak Peek!

Hello!
Here is another Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!
It is a shaker card!

At convention they have prize patrols for free Stampin' Up! products
that they just shared with us and/or demonstrated on stage.
I never win anything- but was a lucky gal one day.
I won this new stamp set & the punch for these little stars too!
Woo Hoo!!!

A card similar to this was demonstrated on stage.
But of course I added a few more layers & changed it.....
but loved the shaker idea.
Isn't this just such a cute little Santa?

'Get Your Santa On'
cs:  Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
ink:  Black Memento
markers:  Stampin' Write Markers in Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight

Last Saturday I had my team here at our home for an all day downline meeting.
This was my shoe box swap that they got to make.
Everyone loved it!
I do too!
 +++++++

Yesterday I got a new phone, ran errands, went to Manda's & helped her,
took the twins on an hour walk in the wagon,
played outside w/them,  meet Brayden's mom & brought him home with me,
shucked corn for 3 1/2 hours, worked on putting things away in my Stampin' Studio, etc.
Needless to say- I got alot done- but not near enough.

This morning I'm headed out to have coffee with 3 of my old  co-workers
from the courthouse- Donna, Crystal & Phyllis.
I miss them & I'm looking forward to getting to visit
& play catch up with them.
3 of us have had new grandsons born in the past few months...
so I know we'll have tons & tons to chat about.
Then I'll be home to freeze corn the rest of the day/night!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

These fall leaves are another Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!

Hello!
Here is another Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek.
It is a fun fall card created with a new photopolymer set.
I absolutely love fall!
It is definitely my favorite season & time of the year.
I'm so excited to use these pretty colors together to create this card.
'Fall Fest' & 'For All Things'

ink:  Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze
marker:  Early Espresso
supplies:  Early Espresso Seam Binding ribbon, Extra Large Oval Punch, Big Shot, Arrows embossing folder, dimensionals, glue dot

Note:
A trick to getting a good image with your photopolymer stamps is to have a
paper piercing mat under your card stock to help give a cushion
& better stamped image.
  +++++++++

Today we are selling a few more feeder piggies.
Brayden will be here to spend the day with us & help.
The guys will be headed to Columbus Junction to race.
And I'll be home freezing corn!!
We are about out & need to get stocked up for winter.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!

Another Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!

Hello!
Oh my gosh....
I sent out the invite about my upcoming Halloween "Treats" class last evening.
So today I'm going to give you a sneak peek of one of the "Treats".
This is one of the little treat boxes we'll be making at my Halloween "Treats" class.

It is created using a few new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog too.

Yep- it is made with an awesome new framelit called- Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit.
And the words are from a cute new stamp set called- 'Ghoulish Greetings'.
Which box do you like better?
The one above?

OR
How about this one with a Jack o' lantern  face?

The face comes from a new Holiday Catalog stamp set too.
It is called 'Fall Fest'.

This is just one of 12 Halloween "Treats" everyone will be making!
Be sure you RSVP to so you can come make Halloween "Treats" with me!
+++++++

I had a busy, yet fun day with my boys yesterday.
And then had a busy night working on stamping stuff.

This morning we sell some feeder piggies.
And then this afternoon I'll be finishing up getting orders ready
to delivery on my monthly run tonight.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

Here is a beautiful flower card with the Blendablities Markers!

Hello!
Here is another beautiful card that everyone joining me to stamp this month made.
I knew when I saw these new markers that I was going to love being
able to do this technique with them.
Years ago we had metallic art pencils that you could color over
white embossed images to add color to the project.
I was hoping that with these new Blendablities Markers I could do the same thing.
AND yes- it worked.....
I was so excited!!
'Corner Garden' background stamp & 'Sassy Salutations'
cs:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
ink:  Whisper White Craft
Blendabilities Markers:  Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral
other:  Extra Large Oval Punch, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals,
Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, White Embossing Powder

Note:  The cool thing about coloring these flowered images when embossed onto the black card stock is that when using the alcohol based Blendablities Markers you can color outside the lines & when it dries it doesn't show up.
So you don't have to be super careful & only color directly onto the embossed image.

++++++
Yesterday was another fun, yet busy day with the boys.
I took them home late yesterday afternoon.
Nathan & Brayden came over to the Seeley's too & the boys all
went swimming with Steven in their back yard.
It was so fun to hear all of their laughs & watch them having fun!

Photo: Loving time with family! ❤️
 Brayden, Drake, Brody & Steven

You can tell how much fun they had by the smiles!
You can't see all of the toys- including water guns that they had been playing with.

It was a nice night last night selling hogs with the cooler temps.
Today the boys will be here again.
Deke will be gone to meetings all day.
I'm planning on playing outside all morning with them.

There are no weekly races in Osky tonight- due to the State Fair.
So I'll be home for a change & will be a busy bee sorting
& getting stamps ready to deliver.
Tomorrow night is my monthly delivery run.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

Obviously it is a Christmas card created with the new set- 'Wonderous Wreath'.
This is a new photopolymer set & it has coordinating framelits to go with it.
Woo hoo!!!
Isn't it beautiful!
And the best part about it is that they are super easy to line up to stamp & cut out.
I love it!

This new 1" Cherry Cobbler Linen Ribbon is yummy!
++++++
I had a busy day with my 4 boys yesterday.
They are busy!
But oh so sweet!
Brayden & I went through his clothes last night- getting him ready for school.
I can not believe he is going to be a 1st grader & start school next week.

Today I'll just have the 3 Seeley boys.
Brayden is going to Aunt Kathy's to visit.
Then tonight I'm a farmer.
Brayden & I will be helping Papa sort, load & sell hogs.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!

Plus we had alot of yummy food for our potluck lunch too.
I'm so glad that so many could join me.

Today I'm off to Hiawatha for a workshop there.
Faith & Paula are co-hostesses today.
I can't wait to see everyone & stamp!
We have a few new gals joining us & I'm looking forward to meeting them.
I am also excited that I have a passenger riding along with me today too.
As Brayden is riding up with Grandma.
Aunt Darci is coming to meet us at my worskhop & he'll go spend the afternoon with her & Maria.
He is excited & I think that they are too!!
I know that Darci has alot of fun things planned for them to do together.
I'm gonna enjoy getting to visit with Brayden on the way up & back home.
Plus I know he is excited to get to see grandma's friends that stamp with her too!

Ok......I was beat last night so went to bed early for me.
Thus I'm up bright & early this morning to finish cutting card stock & packing up.
We'll be heading out the door soon.

They are almost 3!

It will soon be 'party time' for the twins.
Can you believe that the they are going to be 3 the end of this month?
Where does time go?

Manda & I got together a couple of weeks ago & designed their birthday invitations.
It is so fun to stamp together....and with our busy family lives we don't
get to do that too often any more.
This is a fun pocket card created with a retired stamp set using the dump truck.
The boys love books.
And one of their favorite books is 'Goodnight Construction Site'.
So their party this year will be construction themed.
Didn't this card just turn out so cute!!
All of the supplies we used to create this card, other than the dump truck,
are all current products that you can still purchase.

I will update this post sometime soon with the list of supplies we used.
++++++

Today is a full day of stamping!!
My downline will be coming to our home to spend the day with me.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone & sharing with each other.

I am still working on my swaps....so gotta run.
I have lots to do before they walk in the door.

I hope you have a SPECTACULAR Saturday!!!
Happy Stamping!

Hello!
Here is another sneak peek of some products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.
This is a box that was one of our Convention Make & Take projects.
IMG_3830
I love this new stamp set!
It is called- 'Seasonally Scattered'.
You'll be seeing me post lots of different projects created with this set in the next few months.

Did you notice the cute little wooden leaf on this tag?
It is from the new Autumn Accents Elements that is also in the Holiday Catalog.
Cute huh!
+++++++++

I had a full house stamping with me last night.
We had a good time!
Cute cards, great friends, yummy food & lots of visiting.
What more could you ask for?

This morning Deke has a dr appt so we are headed out bright & early!
Then I'll be home to stamp!
I have my downline meeting here tomorrow at our home.
I have swaps & shoe box swaps to create & make yet.
I have lots to do before I can go to bed tonight.
But I'm excited about my team coming to spend the day stamping with me!
Everyone will leave with over 50 new ideas by the time the day ends.
And alot of the projects will be created using new items from the Holiday Catalog
that we could pre-order.
Yep- another perk of being a demonstrator is that we can pre-order new products before they go live for customers to purchase.
My UPS man delivered my new box of goodies from the Holiday Catalog on Wednesday.
It is just like the best Christmas present you could ask for-
getting new Holiday Catalog stamping things!

I'd love for you to join me for my next downline meeting!
Would you like to join my team- the 'Iowa Inkers'?
Contact me for more information or if you have any questions about this.
Click HERE to go to my website & join my team on line!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!!
Happy Stamping!

The "Weekly Deals" for August 5-11, 2014

Here is an awesome sunburst card!

Hello!
Here is another card that everyone joining me for my August workshops will get to make.
I think this card was a big hit at my class on Sunday.
I heard a lot of gals say that it was a favorite of theirs!
It was honestly one that I struggled with colors on.
And I tried many versions before I actually came up with this as my final creation.

I finally decided to do it mostly in black & white.
As I wanted to do a cool new technique that I had learned.
Be sure to check out the black & white designer paper shown on this card.
It is called "Back to Black"!
I added the yellow to it by coloring it with my Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker.
Isn't it just awesome that you can personalize designer paper
& make it be any color you are wanting it to be!
Pretty cool huh!!
 'Kinda Eclectic'
cs:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Crushed Curry
dp:  Back to Black Designer Paper
ink:  Black Memento Pad, Crushed Curry
supplies:  Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Scalloped Tag Punch, Black Chevron ribbon, Tea Lace Doilies, Basic Pearls, White Twine, Dimensionals

Check out these other samples that I played with using this Back to Black Designer Paper.
Here is a piece that I colored with the Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker.
Here is the other side of the piece of designer paper shown above.
It is amazing to me that you can change it with just a little old marker!
I forsure will be doing this technique again with some other papers & colors!
I hope you try it too!
+++++++

I did enjoy all 4 of my boys yesterday.
They are all so darn sweet!
I think they had a really fun time together.
Brody & Brayden loved helping make cookies (& then eating them).
I had to laugh- as Drake says he doesn't like cookies any more.
We watched a Toy Story movie after lunch/before their little nap &
then played outside when they got up.
Trey is a trooper & just watches the big boys.
He is such a good baby!

Bless my dentist for squeezing me in for a "late" appointment last evening
to take a pinpoint spot off of my new filling I had done last week.
I am also glad I got to visit with Brayden's mom & see his baby brother Jacobi
for a bit last night when I took him home too.
I know that I was exhausted when I finally got back home.
We had a long day!

Deke & I have a meeting this morning with our farm insurance lady for our policy.
Then I have tons to do on my day off!
I am not sure where to even start on my list of things to do.
I know what I want to do- but need to get some other business things done first.
I am definitely in the mood to clean & rearrange & I want to get some painting done too.
So many things I wanted to get done before school starts...but I'm running out of time.
Where did the summer go?

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!
