I'm glad everyone joined me & drove careful here & back.
 
Busy this morning getting things picked back up & put back together before my boys get here.
Today all 3 boys get to be here to spend the day with grandma.
I'm excited & looking forward to that as they haven't all been here together for several weeks.
Brayden wanted to come on Wednesday, but since the twins had been sick we decided we had better wait a few more days!
I'm glad to have healthy boys again.

I've told you before- but am telling you again- I have an awesome husband!  I help him & he helps me!  Glad we are such a good team!  We are blessed!  Last night he helped take down the Christmas tree & put it away in the garage for the year; then helped me move all of the furniture out of the family room & I shampooed the carpet in that whole room.  I also got my orders from Denise's party all entered & finalized.  And I sent out reminder emails about my Stampin' Night here on Thursday night, my Stampin' Party on Sunday & my 'Glitter Gals' GROUP downline meeting update email too!

Nathan & Brayden stopped a bit last night to visit.  Brayden wanted to play with his BIG farming operation set up he has.  I promised him I wouldn't tear it apart- so not sure where I'm going to put my other table for Stampin' Night at- but I'll figure out something!

I just got done walking & am off now to get my family room all put back together & ready for the twins when they walk in the door shortly.  

I am praying the twins are healthy today!   

Tonight we sell 2 whole semi loads of hogs- so it will be a late night on the farm.

OH Hello!!

Hello!  Here it is......the whole card that I gave you a peek at yesterday!  This is just one of the 6 cards that the girls made yesterday at Denise's party!!  

(And yes- those of you that are stamping with me on Thursday night & next Sunday will be making this card too!)

 NOTES:

• I colored the vanilla flower with a sponge & the Primrose Petals ink.
• I sponged the White Paper Doily with my Crumb Cake ink.  

Those of you that know me very well know there is no way I could put a white Doily on a card with Very Vanilla card stock!!  Sponging it worked out great! 

Denise had an awesome stamping party yesterday!!  We had a big group & had lots of fun!
Great company, great food & great stamping projects- what else could you ask for?
It was a great way to start off my 1st stamping party in 2013!

I think today will be a LONG day!!

Brody got the flu yesterday (vomiting & diarrhea).
And then Drake got it late last night.
Poor little guys!!!
I'm on my way out the door to go to their house to watch them today.

My mom & Aunt Virginia wanted to come visit today, but I told them they had to wait- as don't want them to get sick.  Now pray that the rest of us don't get it.  We all have lots going on this week! 
(me 2 more stamping parties & Deke has 3 meetings, plus selling 2 semi loads of hogs, etc.)

A family friend that we've known for years passed away.  Ed was such a great guy!  (He & his wife are best friends with my Uncle Jerry & Aunt Kathy too.)  His visitation was a tribute to him last night with over 700 people attending.  Over 30 years ago when Deke & I started dating we spent many fun nights at the Oasis in Webster with Ed & his wife Barb, plus Barb, James, Regina & John.  All of these couples were several years older than us, but we sure enjoyed hanging out with them!!

I had a great time with Cindy & Brittany on Saturday to work on Brittany's wedding invites.
They are very simple, but very elegant- Basic Black, Real Red & Very Vanilla with a monogram on the front!  I love helping friends design & create their wedding invitations!

• suppose to go to a surprise BD party tonight- but don't think I'll be done enough to be able for us to go

Last year my New Years Resolution was to post a new card idea every day on my blog.

AND I did just that!

So this year it is to walk at least 2 miles on the treadmill every day- so off I go!

Today is my anniversary of my job/career change!

One year ago yesterday I quit my job & a year ago today I started doing daycare for the twins, since Brody couldn't go back to daycare for a couple of months due to his surgery.
What a blessing this huge & unexpected change in our life has been.

And since Brody has another surgery coming up next month, I'm so thankful I can continue to stay home with them & we aren't worried about daycare & everything this time around too.

Speaking of my boys.....

Christmas break is over with!!
I will be going to their house this morning to watch them as the boys were up all night.
Bummer.....not sure what is up with that.
We were hoping their ear infection was gone.

So I will have a busy day with them.

And then I get my hair cut tonight.

Here is another cute box!!

 Here is another cute box that I did.  

This stamp set 'Heart of Christmas' was in the Holiday Catalog & now gone......but love the box & wanted to show you!

(Sorry- I thought I had already posted it- as it was one of my Fall Stamp 'Til You Cramp projects.)

This is great box to fill up with cards or put gifts in.

NEED:

2 pieces of card stock 8" x 8 1/2"

1 piece card stock (for lid) 4 1/2"x 6" 

 BOX:

8" tall

8 1/2" wide

score- 2" on 8" side & 2" on bottom of 8 1/2" side

Leave one short side un-scored.

Put both pieces together to make a box.

Slit corners to fold bottom of box.

LID:

score- 2" along the 6" side

Attach to inside of box top

Deke is in the office today- so I'm home alone & to stamp!

BUT- I woke up with a terrible migraine this morning.
I took some meds, but my eyeballs feel like they could pop out- not good!
It is getting a little better- so pray the meds are working.
I haven't had a bad migraine for a long time.
I use to get them all of the time when I worked at the County Attorney's Office.

Wishing you all a healthy & happy 2013!!!  I'm looking forward to sharing my love of stamping with each of you!!

We enjoyed a fun evening home with Mark & Becky (Steve's parents), Manda, Steve & our boys visiting us last night, put an ending to 2012.  AND we were celebrating all we have to look forward to in 2013!  We had a special reason to celebrate too last night- as Steve got a full-time job yesterday with the Keokuk County Secondary Road.  He has been working for them since June as their summer help & a full time position opened up, he applied & got the job!!!  YEAH!  We are so happy for the Seeley family!  

Brayden is still here today- playing with his Ertl home, barns, toys & watching an old 'Home Alone' movie now.  

We sell hogs this afternoon/evening from our outside lot.  Nathan & Steve will have to come to help us.  It is going to be COLD!

I have lots that I could do today, but just may enjoy a day off- which is something I never do!
