'Moon Lake'

Here is one of the cards everyone at Jo's party made.  It is similar to one that I did for my All Occasions Class last month- but this one is a hinged card.
Check out how it opens up.  Cool huh!!  I used the 'Work of Art' stamp set under the duck for the water & stamped it in Soft Sky.  It is hard to see though in these pictures- I'm sorry.
Here it is opened up all of the way.

stamp sets: 'Moon Lake', 'Work of Art' & 'Hardwood' background stamp
card stock:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip
ink:  Early Espresso & Soft Sky
other supplies:  Big Shot, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Circle Framelits, Starburst Framelits, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals, Burlap Ribbon, Candy Dot Brad, Paper Piercing Tool, Paper Piercing Mat

Deke was gone most of yesterday to a meeting.  He chored when he got home & then worked in the fields until the early morning hours since it was still dry.  I worked on catching up on bookwork & stamp orders.  The races were cancelled due to the predicted rain.  We didn't get any rain here yesterday, but I know that some of the areas around us did get quite a bit.

I'm off to pick up the boys.  Brayden will be here after school today & gets to ride the bus out.  We are all looking forward to seeing him.  Tonight I'll be hopefully home & stamping!!  If it doesn't rain Deke will be in the field again.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!!

It's Your Birthday

Here is another All Occasions class card from last month.

This was a fun & simple card.  It is a cute birthday card!
stamp set:  'Big News'
card stock:  Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
designer paper:  Irresistibly Yours (SAB- not available now, but was when I did the class last month)
ink:  Coastal Cabana
supplies:  Sponge, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (small star), Coastal Cabana Twine, dimensionals

The boys & I played alot of games, puzzles, books & coloring yesterday since it was too cold & windy to go outside to play.  Darn....wish Spring would come & stay.

It was a late night on the farm for Deke working in the field again.  We didn't end up selling hogs last night- so that was a nice surprise for me.  I worked on catching up on emails & farm bookwork.  I should have been stamping- but was too tired to do it when I got everything else done.

I'm off to pick up the boys.  Deke was up early to chore & will be gone all day to a meeting in Mt. Pleasant.  Tonight is race night.  I'm planning on going.  Depending on the weather the twins might go with me.  I'll probably drive separately so that I can leave as soon as Nathan is done & head home to stamp.  Wishing Nathan & the #52 team "good luck"!

Gotta run....I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

This weeks- "WEEKLY DEALS" for April 7-13

A quick wedding card...

Here is a quick post & a quick wedding card.....

This is one of the cards everyone made at my All Occasions card class.  I don't know about you, but we have several weddings coming up.  I so love hearts & the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack fits perfectly inside the Happy Hearts Embossing folder!  Cool huh!
And of course.....how can you go wrong with black & white?  They are the perfect color for any wedding aren't they.

stamp set:  'Big News'
card stock: Basic Black, Whisper White
ink:  Black Memento
supplies:  Big Shot, Happy Hearts Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (small heart), dimensionals

We had a busy day yesterday.  Got alot done- but not near enough.  We did have a great time with our boys last night.  We are so thankful that our kids live so close by & that we get to see them almost daily.  The boys sure had fun with their egg hunt.  And our dog Nestle did too!!  I think she thought she was suppose to be hunting with them.  It was cute!  Nestle did find a couple of the eggs & even ate a couple of the chocolates.  But oh my gosh, you should have heard the giggles as the boys ran around in the yard.  I had also bought Silly String for all of the boys- big & little.  They had a blast with their cans of string.  And we sure have a colorful yard right now!  And I'm glad I bought enough cans for the big boys to have fun with it too!  Supper was yummy, company was great & we are blessed!

Deke went back out to the field when the kids all left & worked into the early hours of this morning.  He is wanting to get as much done as he can before it started raining.  I worked on planning up coming classes, waiting on Deke to get in.  I went to bed before he quit though.  He had a short night.

I'm off here soon to pick up the boys.  I am hoping the weather it isn't wet & cold out, so that the boys can play outside some.  I'd like to see how well the twins can drive the gator this year.  Last year was scary- as they weren't very good drivers at all.

Tonight I'm a farmer, as we sell hogs.....so will be working outside late night with Deke.  I hope we don't get wet or freeze.

Wishing that you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Here is a cool card that I created for everyone to make at Jo's party.  I love this 'Sheltering Tree' stamp set.  And I'm always looking at different & fun folds to use.   So here is what I came up.  It is a fun, clean & simple card.
It is just a door card fold that I attached a bigger front onto.  This is what it looks like when it is opening up.
And here is what it looks like when it is closed.  So what do you think?  Cute huh!

We had a nice day yesterday with Deke's family.  The Seeley's met us there, so it was fun to see the boys with the Easter Bunny.  We had fun playing in the park after we were done eating.

Deke worked in the field all afternoon/evening after we got home.  I ran to Osky to get groceries & then came home to work on putting away baskets of things from my All Occasions class.

Deke is headed to the office today for his weekly board meeting.  Sigourney Schools are on Spring Break today- so I have my day off of one job & so will working at my other job.  I hope I get alot accomplished!!

We have our family Easter tonight when everyone gets home from work.....so the boys baskets are ready & their eggs are filled.  I hope it isn't raining out so that we can have their egg hunt outside.  I think that the 3 boys are all big enough this year that it should be lots of fun doing their hunt.

Tonight I'll be a stampin' fool when everyone goes home.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

Happy Easter!!!

Here is another card we did at my All Occasions card class.  I thought this was a fitting for card for Easter, a baptism, confirmation, etc.  It is another clean & simple card.

This Baked Brown Sugar color is a 2013-2015 In Color that will be retiring soon.  I do really like it & will miss it.  I also am going to really miss the Crisp Cantaloupe & Coastal Cabana colors too.

I highly suggest that you order any 2013-2015 In Color products that you want SOON!  FREE SHIPPING starts tomorrow (Monday 4/6) & this would be the perfect time to add any ink pads, card stock, ink refills, markers or Baker's Twine to your order.  Last year alot of the retiring In Color products were sold out before the retiring list even started.  Don't be too late & miss out this year!
stamp set:  'Blessed by God'
card stock:  Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White
ink:  Baked Brown Sugar
supplies:  Big Shot, Oval Collection Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots, dimensionals

Jacie's wedding invitations turned out super cute!!  I love them!  I think she did too!  I will share it with you after she sends them out.  We used Elegant Eggplant, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla.  I'm a 'heart' girl & so is Jacie- so we added the Sweetheart punch to it too.

I spent my whole day/night stamping.  I'm trying to get things unpacked & put away from all of my stamp classes that I had in March.  I have baskets of stamping projects everywhere.  I have to get them all put away so that I can find them & start working on all of my stampin' events that I have coming up for this month.

Deke didn't get in until after midnight again.  He wants to get as much done as he can while it is dry out.  We do have rain in the upcoming forecast.

This morning we are headed out to chore.  We'll then pick up Deke's parents & go meet his brother Doug for brunch.  The Seeley's will be meeting us there too.  Nathan & Sarah are in Missouri with her family & Brayden is with his mom- so we'll have our Easter Egg Hunt & family Easter time celebration tomorrow night after everyone gets off of work.

When we get home this afternoon I'll be a busy bee stamping & Deke is off to the field.

I hope you have a blessed Easter & can spend it with your loved ones.
Love & Blessings-

A clean & simple card.......

Oh how I love black & white cards.  They are just so elegant.  This is another one of the cards that everyone attending my All Occasions class made.  It is a clean & simple one.  Check out the cute little butterfly in the corner.

Not often do I make a card base white.  I just thought this one was striking though.

stamp sets: 'Hello There' (hostess set) & 'Polka Dot Pieces'
card stock:  Basic Black & Whisper White
designer paper:  Back to Black
ink pad:  Black Memento
supplies:  2 1/2" Circle Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, dimensionals

Oh- I pretty much spent my whole day/night yesterday working on stamping stuff.  Honestly if you still saw our house you wouldn't be able to tell, as I still have stamp stuff everywhere!  Deke worked on the farm & in the field until after midnight again.  He is gaining & making sure to take advantage of the dry ground while he can.

He's planning on choring & working in the field all day again today.  I'm going to help Cindy & Jacie plan her wedding invitations & I'm looking forward to that.  When they leave I'll spend the rest of my day/night, working on stamp stuff.  It isn't often I'm ever home on a Saturday or Sunday- so I hope to make the most of time & get caught up on things.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!!
Happy Stamping!

An Easter Treat!

stamp set: 'For Peeps Sake'
card stock:  Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Old Olive
ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
supplies:  Big Shot, Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, Angled Tag Topper Punch, Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Cotton Ribbon, Sticky Strip

We had a really long day on the farm yesterday.  The boys were good & had fun!  And the baby piggies are so cute!  I rode in the tractor last night with Deke for awhile, as he worked until wee hours of this morning in the field again.

I think I'm actually home all day today!!  Woo hoo!!!  I literally have stamps all over our home & I need to get caught up on so much.  I pray that I get alot done.  Deke will be up early to get chores done & then spend the rest of the day/night in the field again- as long as it doesn't rain.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

We just got home from the races.  Nathan got 5th in his heat & finished 8th the main- so not too bad.  I think the car is good, but the track was pretty much just one grooved.  It was windy sitting in the stands, but not cold at all.  The boys were all really good!!

Here is a picture of me & Trey.

Deke is working in the field right now for a few hours until it rains or he is too tired.  I'm headed to bed....and we have the 3 older boys are spending the night with us. I just got them to sleep.  They are having a slumber party on our family room floor!   And I'm headed to bed now too.

We get baby piggies again about 8:30 this morning-so the boys are all be here to help & they are all super excited!  Brayden is on spring break, so that worked out perfect for him to be here with us this time too.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

More to share.....

Here is another card everyone made at my All Occasions class.  It is created using a Sale-a-bration set- 'You Brighten My Day'.  I like this layout....as it is clean & simple again.
I know that you can't purchase this stamp set now with the light bulb on it- but you can use the exact layout & use almost any other image inside the circle.

And you might be asking.....
How did I make the circles on this card?  Cool huh!  This time I didn't use the sponge daubers liked I did on the card that I shared YESTERDAY- click here to see it!
But- on today's card I made the circles using the stamp set- 'Geometrical'.

stamp set:  'And Many More', 'Geometrical' & 'You Brighten My Day' (SAB)
card stock:  Crushed Curry, Basic Gray, Whisper White
ink:  Crushed Curry, Basic Gray
marker:  Crushed Curry
other:  Word Window punch, 2" Circle Punch, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, dimensionals

Wow- we had a busy day yesterday.  We were all beat last night- that is forsure.  But it was a beautiful day out weather wise- which was awesome!!  The boys were really good & we all had a fun time on the farm for the day.  Last night Deke & I worked on the farm until late too.

I'm off this morning to pick up the boys for the day.  Deke chored early & he is headed to an early meeting & then he'll stop in the office for a bit.  Tonight we'll all be off to the races in Osky for the Frost Buster Opening Night.  Nathan's friend Trevor is home & has been helping work on the car- so it will be good to see the guys all together tonight.  The guys went to practice last night & things went well, so I have my fingers crossed that they have a good night of racing tonight.  Manda has parent teachers conferences until 8- so I'll have the 3 Seeley boys with me in the stands until she gets there.  Brayden will ride the bus out after school, but he is now a big boy- so he is going to the pits with his dad during the races.  On our way to the races I'm going to make a couple stops along the way & meet up with Jo & Sheila to get their stamp orders to them too!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This weeks "WEEKLY DEALS"- March 31 to April 6, 2015!

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

CELEBRATE Your Big Day!

Today is a kind of a sad celebration as our 2015 Sale-a-bration ENDS today!!  If you still want any of the Sale-a-bration choices that you haven't gotten yet, then today is your last chance.  Be sure to contact me.  I will be placing a last minute order tonight.

The card here is one of the cards that everyone made at my All Occasions card class.  I love this stamp set!  And I love this card.  It is just a so me card.  Gosh about 13 years ago I made a card similar to it using a different birthday stamp set.  It is just so much fun to add multicolored dots to create a background like this using an ink pad & sponge dauber!  Who wouldn't be thrilled to get a birthday card like this?

WOO HOO- and Deke & I are celebrating today too!  (So maybe I should make a cake!)  Today is our 31st wedding anniversary!  I can't believe that it has been that many years since we said "I Do"!  We make a great team!  We are truly blessed in so many ways!!

stamp set:  Big Day (SAB)
card stock:  Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black
ink:  Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Black Stazon
markers:  Stampin' Write markers in Tangerine Tango & Real Red
other:  Sponge Daubers, Daffodil Delight ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

We all went to Brayden's program last night- Great G'ma Sharon, Aunt Viriginia, Great G'ma & Papa Axmear, Papa & me, Manda, Brody, Drake & Trey, Nathan & Sarah, Kimi & Papa Mark.  They did a great job on all of their songs.  The boys enjoyed it.  It was so cute when they'd sing a song & Brody would say where the song was from- 'TinkerBell, Sheriff Callie, etc.

So I'm off to pick up the boys here soon.  We'll be headed out to spend the morning on the farm helping Papa.  We get baby piggies delivered this morning.  The 3 Seeley boys are excited!! I'll have to try to get some pictures to share.  Our feed guy (Joe) is bringing donuts & chocolate milk to celebrate our anniversary.  When the boys leave tonight I'll be out helping Deke on the farm, as Tuesday nights are my farmer night.  With the dry ground we currently have, Deke is pumping the lagoons.  He worked until after midnight last night & plans to do the same tonight too.  So guess I'll do what I did years ago when we were dating.....I'll ride in the tractor with him & we'll spend some quality time together celebrating our special day!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Jenny & Clint came & we got most of their wedding invites all cut.  Even Clint helped do the folding as Jenny was scoring & I was cutting!

We ran into Manda & Steve's to watch Nathan's feature on the TV about 6:30 & came right back home.  Nathan started 16th & finished 8th.  He is sure struggling with getting this new car set up figured out.  The boys & I didn't end up going to the races as it was sooo cold & windy & I had so much to get done here.

I spent my evening working on stamp orders that arrived the end of last week that I hadn't had a chance to open yet.  I still have lots more to catch up on with them & piles of other things too.

We'll be going to Brayden's Spring Concert at school tonight, so we're looking forward to that.

I'm off to pick up the boys!  And Deke is headed to the office for a meeting.  Our crazy week has just begun!

Wishing you all a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!
