A New Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek!

I'm sharing some sneak peeks with you today!!  Here is a cute little card that I made for my Catalog Kick Off event that I hosted here last week.  I love this little worm!!  I think he is just adorable & can think of all kinds of projects to make using him.  I love these new word framelits too.  The New Occasions Catalog is full of tons of awesome products!  I'll have more to share with you as sneak peeks the rest of this month.  The New Occasions Catalog goes live to customers on January 6th!  That is the same day that Sale-a-bration starts too.  Woo Hoo!
I got these New Occasions products at Founders in September as one of my pillow gifts.  As a demonstrator we could start pre-ordering New Occasions Catalog products last Friday (12/5).  This is just a cool perk of being a demonstrator, as I love to get my hands on new things early so I get a chance to play with it.

Sometime I'll find time to get caught up on being able to catch up on supplies used here on my blog.

This is just a crazy, crazy, crazy week!!  I have a ton of stamp classes & LOTS & LOTS of cutting yet to get done.  I go right from my daytime job to my night job with no break each day this week.  Next week I'm gonna crash!  Gotta run.....

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Wow what a busy weekend of stamping!!!  And a busy week ahead of stamping!!!  My 2015 calendars are created!  And they turned out so cute!  I will post them in the next week or so.  I had my 1st class with customers making them was yesterday.  It was great!  We had a fun time!  I am looking forward to sharing at my other 4 calendar classes I have this week.  I am only a little under 1/3 of the way done cutting them all- so I still have alot of card stock to cut in the next 2 days!!  Thankfully I have an awesome husband & he helped me punch the holes for the rings in the tops of each of the pages I have cut so far.  I hope he will help me with the rest of them this week too.  Bless him!

Deke is off to meetings this morning & I'm headed out to pick up the boys.  Tonight Brayden will be here after school- so I'm looking forward to seeing him.  If it is nice enough, we are gonna try to get our outside Christmas decorations all up before it gets dark out.  He has been wanting to help do this- so hope we can get it done.  Then after he leaves I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting card stock!

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

'Mingle All the Way'

Here is a gift card holder that I made.  At my team Christmas Get-to-Gather my Aunt Kathy shared a cute mini candy bar holder similar to this.  The girls worked together & figured out the measurements if we changed it to make a gift card holder.  So I played with it the other night & this is what I came up with.
You just use one piece of paper from the Trim the Tree Paper Stack to make this!

stamp set:  'Mingle All The Way'
card stock:  Whisper White, Crumb Cake
designer paper stack:  Trim The Tree (4 1/2" x 6 1/2")
ink:  Crumb Cake
supplies:  2 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch, dimensionals, Mini Clothes Pins, Basic Rhinestones
Here are the measurements for this gift card holder.
Designer Paper=
  • 4 1/2 x 6 1/2"- score & fold at 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 4 3/4", 5"
  • Score along the bottom edge at 1/2".
  • Cut out the bottom rectangles to the center part that says to fold up.
NOTE:  The designer paper is from the paper stack & measures 4 1/2" x 6 1/2"- so if you are using 12x12 & cutting it down- this is the size that you'll need.
 ++++++++

I've been burning the midnight oil creating & cutting for my 2015 4x4 desk calendar classes that I have this week.  Today if my first calendar class of the month.  I have a big group joining me & many of them are making multiple calendars to give as gifts for Christmas!

My calendar months turned out super cute!!  I will get pictures of them taken sometime soon too & share with you in the next couple of weeks.

Ok......I've gotta run....still have some card stock to finish cutting, packing up & loading up to do before I can walk out the door.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

A cute gift bag!

Here is a cute gift bag I made.  It is a case from one that I got at Founders from the SU! team.  I love the star punch along the top edge of the bag.  There is designer paper underneath.   And how could you go wrong with anything you make using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch!!  I love it!
stamp set:  'Mingle All The Way'
ink:  Garden Green
marker:  Stampin' Write Cherry Cobbler
card stock:  Crumb Cake
designer paper:  Under the Tree Specialty Paper
other:  Natural & Old Olive Two-Toned Trim; Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Confetti Stars Punch, Gold Metallic Baker's Twine, Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bags
+++++++

I worked last night on sorting stampin' orders & doing Stampin' Up! bookwork.  Today I'm going to be a stampin' fool & pray that I have good mojo!  I have my 1st 2015 Calendar class for the year tomorrow & I can't wait for everyone to see them.  They are awesome gifts!  And a true tradition with all of my customers.  I know that I make around 50 of them each year to give away as gifts to family & friends.  Once you give someone one they surely do expect to get another one the following year!

I hope you have a SUPER Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!

My JOY square!

A few days ago I posted one of my holiday samplers.  So I took one of my 2 1/4 x 2 1/4" squares & put it on a card!  I think it turned out super cute!  What do you think?  I wanted to show you that you can make these squares & then use them in another way too.
 Here is my All Is Calm holiday sampler that I posted earlier.
 And here is my complete Joy card.
I will update this post sometime soon with the supplies that I used.

++++++
It was a late night last night when we got home.  We went to Osky for our meeting, saw the Lighted Parade, ate supper out (which we rarely do) & made a Walmart run.  Plus Deke bought me an early Christmas present at Browns.  I got a new pair of Dansko shoes to help my plantarfasziitis.  My feet have been killing me since March & every time I think they are getting better they flair up again.  I spend many, many hours a week standing up on cement cutting card stock- so I pray that my new shoes help me have happy feet.  My dear friend- Dr. Rory- suggested that I get these.

I'm headed in to get the boys & will spend my day with them.  Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil working on my 2015 calendars for my upcoming classes I have coming up!  I pray that I have good mojo & my creative juices just flow.

Wishing you have a FABULOUS Friday!

My Holiday Sampler!

I LOVE this!!

Here is another Holiday Sampler that I made.  The cute little snowman square was made by my downline Patti & the cardinals in the tree square was made by my downline Terri.  I made the others using the sets- White Christmas' & the 'Project Life December Wonder' sets.
Here is the deer square.  I'll get some of the other squares in the sampler above added here sometime soon.  I'm beat & headed to bed now......as I've not had much sleep the past few nights getting ready for my team meeting......

I had a fun time with my some in my Iowa Inkers team last night watching the live stream of the upcoming Occasions Catalog & Sale-a-bration Catalog Kick Off!  I'm glad that those of you that came could join me.  I had several make & takes for everyone to make using new Occasions Catalog products.  And we enjoyed Cheesy Potato Soup & maidrites!

I'm off to pick up the boys early this morning.  Then we'll head home to spend the day with them.  Deke is on the farm the whole day- so it will be nice to have him get to eat lunch with us.  I have a few more things to finish up on my farm bookwork, as we have an appointment with our CPA tonight.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

Happy Winter!

Here is a cute framed "HAPPY WINTER" project that I shared as a make & take at my Christmas Get-to-Gather with my Iowa Inkers downline team a couple of weeks ago.  I thought it turned out cute!!  My inspiration for this came from the Stampin' Up! (R) website & was created by a Stampin' Up! (R) design team member.  Theirs was a different colors- but the same layout.

I will update this post sometime with the supplies that I used.
++++++

I've been burning the midnight oil & creating make & takes for my team meeting I'm hosting tonight at our home.  Stampin' Up! (R) is doing a live mainstream tonight called the New Occasions Catalog Kick Off!  So my team will be joining me for soup & maidrites.  I'll then have several make & takes for them to create & on some of them they get to use New Occasions Catalog products that I got as my pillow gifts when I was at Founders.  I am excited about getting together tonight & seeing everyone.  Normally we only get together on Saturdays- so this is totally something new & different.

I'm off to get the boys soon & spend my day with them.  Deke is gone all day to meetings.

I hope you have  WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

It is an All is Calm Framed Holiday Sampler!

I had a team meeting- my Christmas Get-to-Gather- at our home last weekend.  Together we made 2 1/4 x 2 1/4" squares.  Check them all out!  I combined all of mine & mounted them onto a 8 x8" mat & then layered with an 8 1/4 x 8 1/4" mat & mounted them onto a 12 x 12" sheet of card stock!  Isn't it just beautiful!!!  I just love it!!

Believe me that making these squares is addicting.  After my team left I spend the night making more squares for another Christmas Sampler that I did.....and I'll post a picture of it later this week, so be sure to stop by back to check them all out!
++++++
Deke will be gone all day, as he has a meeting this morning, one this afternoon & one this evening.  I'm headed out early this morning & will go to Nathan's to get Brayden.  We'll then go to Manda's & get the boys, take Brayden to school & then head out to our home.

Tonight I'll be a farmer helping Deke on the farm.  I'll then be burning the midnight oil working on projects for my team!  I have many of them joining me on Wednesday night this week & we'll be watching the New Occasions Catalog Kick- Off - which is a live event from Stampin' Up!

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!!
Happy Stamping!!

We had a really busy day yesterday with family- but had a great time!!  It was a challenge to get all of the boys to look & smile at the same time for pictures- so we'll see what they turn out like.  But we took them at a feed store & I can't wait to see them!  There was still a little snow & then old buildings in the background.  I think they will be cool!!

Our trip to Des Moines to see Disney was awesome too.  The boys were all good & loved the show!!  It was a variety of different Disney things- Cars, Fairies, Toy Story, Barbie & Ken, Mickey & Minney, etc....  I thought it was kinda of hard to keep track of things & I prefer the single story line theme- but it was still great!  Neat costumes, singing, lights, etc.

I was up early this morning to start my chicken baking & getting things ready for our Thanksgiving Dinner.  We are off to my sisters here soon & will spend our day there with my side of the family having a late Thanksgiving Dinner together.

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

An 'Ornamental Pines' card

I do believe that the 'Ornamental Pines' stamp set in the Holiday Catalog is one of my favorite sets.  This card is similar to one of the cards I offered in my Christmas card kits- but it is going the other direction & I didn't put a flag (banner) on it for the words.  I really like both of them.
 I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to it for some sparkle & just loved it! And I used strings from the Burlap Ribbon to tie & add a bow over the pine cones.   The Woodgrain Embossing folder helps to add a little dimension & texture to the card.
stamp set:  'Ornamental Pines'
card stock:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla
ink:  Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso
other supplies:  Big Shot, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Circle Framelits, Paper Snips,
Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Burlap Ribbon, Glue Dots

You can see the other card I made similar to this layout, but going the other direction BY CLICKING HERE!
+++++++++++++++
I spent the whole day yesterday working on farm stuff.  I got most of it done.  What a great feeling!!  I even got my homemade noodles made too last night before I went to bed- so they are drying & will be ready for me to cook tomorrow morning.  As tomorrow we have my side of family Thanksgiving Dinner at Beckie & Dan's home.

Today we will be spending the whole day with our kids & grandkids!!  We are going to be on the go!  This morning we are getting our family pictures taken in the snow.  And then this afternoon we are all headed to Des Moines to see Disney on Ice & then we'll go out for supper.  All of us are going except for Deke- as he has a ton of meetings next week & had too much work on the farm to do to take off to go with us- which is a huge bummer.  I am not sure who is more excited about going to Disney on Ice- the kids or the adults!  It was a family tradition to take our kids to Disney on Ice during Thanksgiving weekend when they were young, but Sarah & Steve have never been to it before.  Nathan & Sarah stopped here last night for a bit & she said that she was super excited to be going!!  It looks like the weather is going to be good too- so we should have an almost perfect day!

I hope you have a SUPER Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!
