'Ornamental Pines'

Good morning-

Here is a card that I made this month for a swap that I was in.   I love this stamp set & just think it is very elegant.

Check out the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter I added to these pines.  Don't you just love the sparkle!

This stamp set would also make not only an awesome Christmas card (like it's intent), but it could also be used for a guys birthday card, sympathy card, etc.

'Ornamental Pines'
cs:  Naturals Ivory, Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso
ink:  Mossy Meadow & Early Espresso
supplies:  Big Shot, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Mossy Meadow ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2 Way Glue Pen, Dimensionals, Glue Dot

This is an easel card.  Check out how it stands up when it is open.

I've been busy stamping!!  I have some super cute new things created for STYC & I can't wait for everyone to see them.  I've got a long next 4 days ahead of me- but I love this big event & I can't wait to share!

Deke has a meeting today.  My mom is gonna come down to visit & see the boys a bit, so we are looking forward to that.  Tonight I'm a farmer helping Deke sell hogs.  And when I get in I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

A cute card little box!

Here is a cute little card box that I made as one of the projects
for my upcoming Stamp 'Til You Cramp class.
It turned out super cute!
I wanted a little something to hold a set of cards.
Neat huh!
It is a true Susie's original & I'm pretty proud of it.
 It stands up well.
AND
right here it is shown with 5 cards in it, along with 5 envelopes
& there is still plenty of room that we could add a few more.
Awesome huh!

*The cards inside this box are my all done with the One Sheet Wonder Technique.

I was a stamping fool for the day yesterday!
I got alot done- but have a long ways to go.
My Stamp 'Til You Cramp countdown has begun.
It is in 6 more days!
Woo Hoo!

Last night I took the boys & we went to the races.
They were good & had fun!
It was chilly out.
Nathan didn't have good luck though.
It wasn't a fun way to end his racing season.
But now they have all winter to work on things for next years racing season.

We dropped the twins off at their house on way home,
but Brayden stayed with us-
as we left when Nathan was done- but the races weren't over with yet.
So this morning we are headed into the Fireman's breakfast real quick to eat
& then back home for me to stamp!
I pray I still have my good mojo.

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!
Happy Stamping!

Check out this perpetual calendar!

Hello!
Here is one of my Stamp 'Til You Cramp projects
that everyone will be making next Saturday!!
I really like the way it turned out.
The 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" blocks were made using the new Gift Box Punch Board
from the Holiday Catalog.
Won't this look cute sitting on a desk or bookshelf.
It is something that you can use each day
& year after year.
I hope everyone attending likes it as much as I do.
Love this pretty sunflower added to the top too!

++++
We had a fun time together yesterday with Lawson visiting.
The boys got along really well.
I tired to get a picture of them.....
but that wasn't too easy of a task to accomplish.

Susie's Hair Hut was open too- so Brody & Drake both got their hair cut.
Wow- they look so grown up.
And I'm so glad that I got them done.

The guys went racing last night.
Nathan got 2nd in his heat & 2nd in the main.
I stayed home & spent my night stamping & working
on STYC projects.

I'll be spending my day stamping!
Please pray that I have good mojo & all just comes together well.

I have tons to do to get ready for my big stamp camp next Saturday!
I can't wait for you all to see all of the projects we'll be making.

Tonight I'll be headed to Memphis, Missouri to watch
Nathan race & I'll be taking all 3 boys along with me-
Brayden, Brody & Drake.
We're all excited to go.
And this is my favorite track to go watch racing at
& I haven't been there yet this year.
And this is probably our last night of racing for 2014.
There are still a few more weekends where we could go-
but we all have other things going on & aren't able to go.

I hope you have a very SPECIAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

More 'Ornamental Pines'

Good morning!
This is a card that everyone joining me at my October classes last week got to make.
It is called double time stamping.
So that you stamp the 2 center pieces at the same time & then layer then.
I just love this stamp set.
It is forsure one of my favorites in the Holiday Catalog.
It just doesn't have to be a Christmas card.
Gosh- it would make a wonderful guy card or sympathy card too.
 'Ornamental Pines'
cs:  Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla
ink:  Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso
marker:  Early Espresso
supplies:  Mossy Meadow ribbon, dimensionals, glue dot

Deke went along with me last night on my monthly stamp delivery run.
It was great to have the company while driving.
And we went to Longhorn Steak House for supper too!
It was a late night burning the midnight oil stamping when we got home.

This morning I'm off to pick up the boys.
We'll be hurrying home, as my great-nephew Lawson will be spending the day with us too.
Lawson is 2 1/2 year old.
So I'm going to have a super busy day!!

The guys are headed to Memphis tonight to race.
I plan to be home alone.
And I'll be stamping my night away!
I have lots to do to get ready for my Fall Stamp 'Til You Cramp!
I have so many fun things planned &
I always looks forward to this fun annual stamp camp.

An elegant 'Wonderous Wreath' card

Good morning-
Here is a silver card that I'm offering for my Christmas card class.
I got a pretty card at Founders from a friend- Jennifer Cotton.
She only used Smoky Slate as a layer & then embossed her wreath.
I wanted to add a little more color & simplify the making of it for mass producing.
So here is what I came up with.
Isn't it just very elegant!

'Wondrous Wreath'
cs:   Whisper White, Smoky Slate & Basic Gray
ink:  Smoky Slate & Basic Gray
supplies:  Big Shot, Wonderful Wreath framelits, Silver 1/8" Ribbon, Dimensionals, Glue Dot

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day!
Finally the boys got to play outside for while yesterday morning & afternoon.
Last night I ended up running to Osky to deposit our hog check from last week
& pick up some much needed groceries.
I burnt the midnight oil sorting stamp orders when I got home.

I'm headed in to pick up the boys now.
Tonight is my delivery stamp run- so I'll be seeing alot of you!
Deke might end up riding along.
That would be awesome if he does.
Maybe we'll even stop someplace & eat a quick bit for supper.

I will be burning the midnight oil stamping when we get home.
Ideas are spinning in my head.....
I just hope they all come together when I go to put them on paper.
I'm excited for my upcoming big fall class that is on the 25th!
I just have alot to do between now & then.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a long day.
The boys did great at their well check dr appointments.
They love Dr. Mary & Nurse Stacy.
Manda, me, Brody & Drake all got our flu shots.
Trey just turned 4 months- so he had to get 3 shots too.
He'll get his flu shot at his 6 month check up.

Loading/sellings hogs went well last night.
It was just Deke & me.
Deke had made a new loading chute for the semi to back up to
for our big outside lot.
It was great & worked well!
Brayden had fun 'helping' us from the other side of the fence.
He is such a little farmer & can't wait until he is big enough to actually help.

I'm headed into Manda's to get the boys &
take Brayden to school this morning, as Nathan has an early meeting.
Tonight I think I'm finally home for a change!!
Woo Hoo!
I have several boxes of stamps that my UPS man brought yesterday afternoon.
I need to get them all sorted & ready for delivery!
So will be working on that.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!!

The boys were so disappointed that it was rainy most of yesterday.
We sang 'rain, rain go away'- several times.
Luckily it was only drizzling last night when we were sorting hogs.
And thankfully Nathan & Steven came to help us.
So we weren't too wet when we got in.

This morning I'm headed to Manda's early.
She has an early appointment at school.
And the inspector is coming to check out their winterizing they've had done-
so the boys & I will be there until he is done.
We'll then run to our home to get lunch with Deke.
And then Manda & I are taking the boys to see Dr. Mary for check ups.
Trey will have his 4 month check up &
Brody & Drake will have their 3 year check ups.
Brayden will be here after school- so we are looking forward to seeing him.

He'll get to help us outside.
As tonight I'll be a farmer again & we'll be helping Deke sell hogs.
I hope we don't get drenched.....as I think it is suppose to be rainy
all day again today.
Here is a photo of Trey taken on Sunday (the 12th).
I can't believe that he is 4 months old already.
Isn't he just a cutie!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!

The Newborn King

Hello!
This card is one that I'm offering in my upcoming Christmas card 'kit' class.
And this was the most popular 'kit' ordered at my class last night.
It was definitely a favorite of many that were here.
I guess you could call this card- simple elegance.
To be honest this was not my favorite stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.
But it sure has grown on me.
It is a neat religious stamp set.
I just love the nativity spotlighted like this.

At Founders my dear friend Glenda Travelstead did her card in this layout,
with totally different colors & she colored in Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus.
Navy & Silver are among my favorite colors for Christmas cards-
so here you have my creation of it.

'The Newborn King'
cs:  Night of Navy, Smokey Slate, Whisper White
ink:  Silver Metallic Encore Pad, Night of Navy
supplies:  1 3/4" Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch, 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch,
Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones

 +++++
Last night was a fun night of stamping with everyone.
There was alot of chatter & laughs.
It is so nice to see everyone visiting & helping each other.
I want to be sure to thank Debbie, Aunt Kathy & Karen
for bringing yummy treat!

This morning I'm headed to Manda's to get the boys.
We'll head back home for awhile & then we'll go back
to town shortly after lunch,
as today is our Sigourney-Keota Homecoming Parade.

Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil getting ready for
Cathy's party that is tomorrow.
And then Heather & Darla are having a stamping party on Sunday!
So I have lots of cutting to do for it too!
It is going to be a very busy weekend of stamping forsure!
But I can't wait!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!
