'Seasonally Scattered'

Hello!
Here is one of the cards everyone stamping with me at my monthly classes
this month will get to make.
It is a fun fold thanks card created with 'Seasonally Scattered'.
I will update this with the supply list sometime soon.

I'm headed out this morning to go to a stampin' party with Cathy & her friends!
We're having a morning class with bagels & coffee.
Plus I'll have some cute projects that I'm taking along to share with them too!

Tonight Deke & I have a meeting/supper to attend for his campaign.
And then I'll be burning the midnight oil again when we get home cutting card stock.
As Heather & Darla are having a stampin' party tomorrow!

The Newborn King

Hello!
This card is one that I'm offering in my upcoming Christmas card 'kit' class.
And this was the most popular 'kit' ordered at my class last night.
It was definitely a favorite of many that were here.
I guess you could call this card- simple elegance.
To be honest this was not my favorite stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.
But it sure has grown on me.
It is a neat religious stamp set.
I just love the nativity spotlighted like this.

At Founders my dear friend Glenda Travelstead did her card in this layout,
with totally different colors & she colored in Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus.
Navy & Silver are among my favorite colors for Christmas cards-
so here you have my creation of it.

'The Newborn King'
cs:  Night of Navy, Smokey Slate, Whisper White
ink:  Silver Metallic Encore Pad, Night of Navy
supplies:  1 3/4" Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch, 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch,
Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones

 +++++
Last night was a fun night of stamping with everyone.
There was alot of chatter & laughs.
It is so nice to see everyone visiting & helping each other.
I want to be sure to thank Debbie, Aunt Kathy & Karen
for bringing yummy treat!

This morning I'm headed to Manda's to get the boys.
We'll head back home for awhile & then we'll go back
to town shortly after lunch,
as today is our Sigourney-Keota Homecoming Parade.

Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil getting ready for
Cathy's party that is tomorrow.
And then Heather & Darla are having a stamping party on Sunday!
So I have lots of cutting to do for it too!
It is going to be a very busy weekend of stamping forsure!
But I can't wait!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

My cards for my upcoming Christmas Card Class!

Hello!
Here are the cards that I created for my upcoming Christmas Card Class.
This class will be held at our home on Saturday, November 15th!
If you can't make it this day-
you can still purchase one or more 'kits' & make the cards on your own time.
 All k'its' include-
stamp set & pre-cut card stock & supplies to complete the cards.
You have the option to 'add on' ink pads, punches, framelits, etc.
I've been doing my Christmas Card Class this way for the past 10 years or so now.
It is one of my classes that is loved by many.
It is a great way for you to have me do your planning
& cutting for Christmas cards.
All you have to do is stamp & assemble them.
Woo! Hoo!
Cool idea huh!

I think that all of my Christmas Cards turned out pretty cute!
Usually I choose 3 stamp sets & make 3 different cards with each stamp set.
But this year I had a hard time deciding which sets I would be using-
so I am offering 4 different stamp sets & I created 2 different cards with each set.
Some of these cards can go the other direction & sill use the exact same pieces too.
I'll be sharing pictures of these in the upcoming days.

 ++++++
I have a my monthly Stampin' Night here at our home tomorrow night.
So last night I burnt the midnight oil getting things ready for it.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone
& spending our evening together stamping.
I am planning to sit, visit & stamp with you all tonight!

I'm headed to Manda's this morning to get the boys.
Yesterday we spent alot of the day outside enjoying the beautiful weather.
Gosh- I just LOVE FALL!!

Off I go...
I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

A cute Halloween bag!

Hello!

This stamp set is from my September My Paper Pumpkin!
I really like it & wish it was available in our Holiday Catalog.

I used the set with the our Tag Topper Punch &
our Two Toned Tangerine Twine.
I decorated one of our Mini Muslin bags-
by using a Basic Black Classic Ink Pad &
a sponge dauber to make the dots on it.
I think that it turned out pretty cute!
What do you think!
++++

The 3 boys & I went to Osky yesterday with Deke.
While he was at his appointment we went to Walmart.
Yep- I did it all by myself & we got along great!
They were all really good.
And I got lots of compliments from people in the store about how good they were.
Which was nice to hear!

Last night we worked on the farm.
Brayden was here to help, so he was excited!
He & Nathan ate a late supper with us too.
I then burnt the midnight oil with catching up on some more bookwork for the farm.
And trying to work on my upcoming Christmas card kits.

Today Deke is gone again all day to meetings.
So it will just be me & the boys.
Tonight I'll be home (hopefully) & will be getting ready for my
Stampin' Night class that I have here tomorrow night!
Woo Hoo!
It is never a dull moment around here.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

Weekly Deals- October 7-13, 2014

A mummy box!

This is a little treat box from my Halloween Treats class.
I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
I should have taken a photo of it from the side- as it is actually a little box
& you could put something in it.

+++++
Yesterday was busy with all 4 boys.
They had fun together.
G'ma was super tired last night.
I'll see them all 4 here again soon-
as Nathan has an early meeting this morning so
I'll go to Manda's & keep all of the boys there until we take Brayden to school.
Then the 3 boys & I will come back out to our home.

I did get Nathan's hair cut last night.
Plus placed orders from weekend parties & got some farm bookwork done.
I am hoping I can get the twins hair cut sometime today.
Deke has an appointment in Osky this morning....
and I'm trying to decide if the 3 boys & I will go along so I can get
some groceries & things or not.
Guess we'll see how our morning starts out & then decide.

Tonight I'm a farmer- helping Deke sell hogs.
At least it is cool out & we don't have to worry about the piggies getting too hot.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

I love this stamp set!
It is definitely one of my favorites in the Holiday Catalog.

We had a full house & a fun afternoon of stamping yesterday!
What a way to celebrate National Card Making Day!!
There were some new faces who attended.
And I heard lots of laughs as everyone helped each other throughout the afternoon.
That is what I love about sharing!

Today will be a busy day here.
Deke has a meeting this morning & one tonight.
Sigourney has teachers in-service today- so I'll have all 4 boys.
I know that Brayden is excited to get to spend the day with the twins & play.

Susie's Hair Hut is open tonight.
The twins & Nathan all need hair cuts.
So hoping we get them all done.

Then I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping.
I have 3 more workshops this week to get ready for.
Plus my big fall stamp camp is at the end of the month!
So I'll be working on creating projects for that too.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

A "BAT" Halloween Treat Box!

Hello!
Here is a cute little bat box that everyone made at my Halloween Treats class.
It is made with the French Fry Box die.

The idea for this box was CASED (Copy And Share Everything)
from
demonstrator- Susan Campfield.
She also has a great tutorial on how to make it too.
You can check it out HERE!
I cut some strips of card stock & crimped it,
put it in the box & added a little candy bar.
+++++
Yesterday I spent the day stamping!
Then last night our family went to the races.
Nathan looked great in his heat & got 2nd.
He didn't draw very well for the main, started 12th
& finished someplace around 12th.
But at least he didn't get wrecked & we brought the car home in one piece.
The boys were all good.
It was chilly- but not windy like Friday night- so it wasn't too bad out.

I'm EXCITED for my party I have today!
We'll be celebrating National Card Making Day!
Lori is having a party & we have a big group joining us.
I can't wait to see everyone & share.
They'll be making 7 awesome cards!
I will get pictures of the cards taken & post them sometime within the next week.

I still have to finish cutting card stock & load up.....
so gotta run!

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!
Happy Stamping!

I pray that I have good mojo!

Tonight we'll all be headed back to Osky for the 2nd night of the Fall Challenge.

A cute little pumpkin!

Hello!
Here is a cute little pumpkin box that was made at my Halloween Treats classes.
It is made with the French Fry Box Die.
I made the face by taking the Large Oval punch & cutting it in half.
Then making a notch out of the bottom center
& 2 notches out of the top sides for his teeth.
For his eyes & nose I used the Petite Pennants Builder punch.
I snipped off the 3 corners making triangles.
I did curve the eyes a little too.
 He turned out pretty cute!

supplies:
Big Shot, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Petite Pennants Builder Punch,
Large Oval Punch, 4x6 Cello Bags, 3/4" Pumpkin Pie Chevron Ribbon

Yesterday I spent the day at Manda's with the boys.
They have had contractors there working on their furnace, water heater & sealing their house.
Deke stopped to eat lunch with us when he left the office.
Brayden's last flag FB game was last night, so Deke & I went to it.
It is fun to see how much they have all improved from their first game.
Brayden came home with us after the game.
We made supper & did homework.
Nathan got here when he was done with his classes.

This morning I'm off to spend the day at Manda's again with the boys.
The contractors are about done!
Trey has an appointment this morning too-
so Deke will come in from the farm to stay with the twins at their home.
That way I don't have to take all 3 of them out by myself.
Tonight Trey & Brayden will be here with me.
Deke & Nathan will be in the shop.
And the twins get to go to the Ninja Turtles movie with their mom & dad.
So they are very excited!!
I will be burning the midnight oil tonight stamping-
as I have LOTS of stampin' parties in the next week to get ready for.
Lori has a party on Sunday!
So I pray I have good mojo!

Gotta run....
I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Blendabilites Markers......

Stampin' Blendabilities are designed to work with our Memento Ink Pad. But Stampin' Up! has been doing testing & have found that they also work well with several of our Classic Stampin' Pads too.  They are all listed below.
**Keep in mind that colors not listed are prone to smearing and aren't recommended for use with Stampin' Blendabilities.
**Also, remember that you'll get the best blending results using Whisper White Cardstock and when the stamped image is completely dry.
Always Artichoke
Baked Brown Sugar
Blushing Bride
Calypso Coral
Coastal Cabana
Crisp Cantaloupe
Crumb Cake
Crushed Curry
Daffodil Delight
Garden Green
Hello Honey
Marina Mist
Melon Mambo
Lost Lagoon
Old Olive
Pear Pizzazz
Pink Pirouette
Pistachio Pudding
Pool Party
Pumpkin Pie
Sahara Sand
Smoky Slate
So Saffron
Soft Sky
Tangelo Twist
Tangerine Tango
Tempting Turquoise
Wild Wasabi
Wisteria Wonder
What Sets Our Blendablities Apart:
  • The Stampin' Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away.
  • Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker.
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
  • Color-coded caps.
  • Stampin' Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock and can be used with transparent sheets.

A cute spiderweb!

Here is a cute spiderweb card.
This is another one of the cards everyone made at my Halloween Treats class.

The boys were so good yesterday helping us with the baby piggies.
They had a blast!
It is so fun to see them so excited about being out on the farm.
I forgot to take my camera & was bummed- as could have gotten some neat photos
of them at times.
They were so excited that they got to get into the trailer & help Kurt unload the babies.
It was so cute!

My mom & Aunt Virginia enjoyed the morning with Trey.

Last night was a late night on the farm loading hogs.
We didn't get in until about 11 pm.
We were both beat!
We took our showers, got supper & went to bed.

This morning I'm headed to Manda's to keep the boys there all day long.
Then this evening we will be going to Brayden's last flag football game.
We are hoping that it doesn't get rained out.
There is a chance of rain for the next few days.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!
