Another Halloween Treat!

Good morning!
Here is another Halloween Treat that I did at my Halloween Treats Class last Sunday.
In the Holiday Catalog on pg. 4 (bottom of page) there is a cute Witches Broom with Black Licorice in the 1x8 cello bag.
So I adapted that broom & made mine with a large pretzel in it, as I knew that our boys would like that.

'Halloween Bash'
cs:  Basic Black, Very Vanilla
ink:  Black Stazon
supplies:  Paper Snips, Big Shot, Deco Label Collection, Crop a Dile, 1/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon, Sticky Strip, 1 x 8" Cello Bags, Witches Brew Washi Tape

I'm off to work on finishing getting things ready for my workshop today with Kathy & our stampin' friends.
And I can' wait to share 6 really cool cards with all of them.

We had a fun night watching Nathan raced in the 27th Musco Fall Challenge last night.
There were alot of cars there.
It was a chilly night, but fun spending it with family.
Manda, the 3 boys, Mark (Brayden's other Papa), my sister Julie, Mattie & Luke were all there.
Nathan got 2nd in his & 9th in main- so not a bad night over all for the field of cars that were there.
At least we came home with the car all in one piece.
(Nathan has totaled more than one car at this annual race before.)
And there were some totaled cars there tonight.
(Which is very sad & I hate to see- but thankful no drivers were hurt- just the cars.)

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!
Happy Stamping!
hugs!

Today is World Card Making Day!!!

Here is the World Card Making Day Contest from Stampin' Up!

Today is World Card Making Day. It’s a day to celebrate creativity and to make something meaningful. It’s also a day to kick off the holiday season and get a head start on making seasonal cards.

To celebrate this wonderful day, each concept artist has created a card to share with you. Check out the home page of our Stampin' Up! website at:  www.stampinup.com

Making cards is a great way to express your creativity and foster relationships. We hope that this inspires you to make a card for someone today!

In addition, Stampin’ Up is having a contest . . . to inspire you even further!
There are two ways to enter.
  • E-mail a photo of a card (or of you making a card) on World Card Making Day to wcmd2013@stampinup.com.
  • Post a photo of a card (or of you making a card) on Instagram on World Card Making Day. Mention us by typing @stampinup and use the hashtag: #wcmd2013 in the description.
This contest is open to everyone—demonstrators, customers, friends, spouses, children . . . you get the idea! However, there are a few conditions:
  • You must be over the age of 18 to win a prize.
  • You must use Stampin’ Up! products to create your project.
  • You may enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must feature a different card.
  • The contest will last all day on October 5, from midnight to midnight.
  • We will randomly select 100 winners from our English-speaking North American markets to receive a Paper Pumpkin kit.
A selection of pictures will be posted to our World Card Making Day Pinterest board and the winners will be announced in a current update.

Happy Stamping!!!!
