I have a busy day today!!!
I'll be stamping & creating!
I've got my ideas down on paper- so just hoping it all clicks & I have good mojo.
I have to get the rest of my 20 cards figured out so that I can get supplies expedited shipped for my BIG ANNUAL 'ALL OCCASION' CARD CLASS that is next Saturday in Sigourney.
I will then repeat the exact same class in Hiawatha the following Saturday.
Registration deadline for both classes was yesterday.
I have a nice sized group of stampers joining me to stamp for the day at both classes, so I'm very excited!!

Brayden is coming to spend the day with Papa & me too- so I'm looking forward to that.
I had a fun day yesterday with all of my boys!
Then tonight we will all go to my sisters home & celebrate my niece Ginny's birthday.

I hope you have a fun weekend planned!
Take care.
Happy Stamping!

Wishing you a Whirly Twirly......(birth)DAY!

Good morning!
This card makes me think of SPRING!
I can't wait for the snow to be gone & warmer spring to arrive.
It will be so nice to be able to go outside to swing & play.

Don't you just think that this Pinwheel Sizzlit is just adorable?

Tonight is stampin' night here.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone & stamping!!!
Since I haven't been home for a week- my house (mainly stamp studio) isn't going to be too clean- but the girls will all be making 7 cute cards so hope they don't notice the mess!!
I have LOTS to catch up on from not being home the past week.
I'll be glad when I'm caught up & we are off of the crazy roller coaster we've been on lately.
BUT-
Brody continues to get better each day!
Yesterday he played some, but preferred being held, so we did lots of rocking, reading books & watched a few Disney movies.
Last night Manda & Steve changed his bandages & it was terrible......
Why can't they come up with tape that sticks but isn't permanently stuck to the skin?
One tape the hospital used wouldn't stay stuck & the other won't come off (even with adhesive remover).

Ok.....lots to do this morning before I head to Manda's house in an hour.

I hope you have a super day!
Happy Stamping!

I am off to Manda's this morning to keep the twins.  She is headed back to work.  Yesterday was a busy, but nice day with the boys.  Brody is getting back to himself since he is now off the steroids.  Every time I look at him I just think- WOW- he has been through so much the past week & he is such a blessing!!  I'm glad that Manda took the day off yesterday & I could help her.  We got caught up on things at their house!!

We sold hogs last night & it was almost 11 pm when we got in.  WOW- long day/short night!  Hogs didn't sort or load very good & it was VERY SLICK out.  Hoping the truckers made it safely.  I always worry about them too, especially lately-as lately every Tuesday night the weather has been bad.

Gotta run!

I hope you have a fabulous day!!!
Happy Stamping!

I'm off to Manda's early this morning.  Steven is going back to work today.  Manda is taking one more day off to get caught up on laundry & everything else that has happened while not at home for 5 days.  I'm going in to their house to help care for the boys.  Brody has been a bear & not sleeping the best due to his steroids.  We all feel so sorry for him.  We are hoping that he'll soon be back to his normal happy self.  Manda did get a great picture of the twins last night, that I posted.  We are all happy to have them all back at home to be together & sleep in their own beds tonight.  We are all exhausted.  It has been a whirlwind of the past 5 days.  Thanks again for all of your thoughts, prayers & notes.  They are all very much appreciated!

Tonight I'm a farmer.  We sell 2 loads of hogs- so it will be a late night.  Worried about this darn snow that we are getting again.  UGH- I'm ready for spring!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL day!
Love & Blessings-

Home sweet home!!!

An update from Manda.....they are getting to come home today!

Brody had a restless night again. We don’t think he is feeling a lot of pain. Instead he is very angry that he hasn’t gone “bye bye” yet! Each time someone from the hospital enters the room he tells them “bye bye.” He still doesn’t want to be in the room hardly at all when he is awake…..even in the middle of the night. Steve took him on a walk again in the middle of the night just to get him to relax and go to sleep.
We are continuing with the tylenol every 4 hours as needed. He did have the steroid this morning at 8 AM but I believe that was his last dose!! Hallelujah!!
We just got back from an X-ray and are waiting on the discharge papers. YAY! Can’t wait to get home and see Drake and sleep in my bed and cook real food, do laundry…..the list goes on!!!
Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers!

'Bloomin' Marvelous' flowers.....

Happy Monday!!

Here is another one of the cards that everyone at Mary & Phyllis's party got to stamp This is a clean & simple card.  But I really like it!

'Bloomin Marvelous'
cs:  Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
supplies:  Basic Pearls, Paper Snips, dimesionals

This just might be one of my 40 card class cards!
I think it is very pretty!
But how can you go wrong with putting Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive together?

Jenny had an amazing party yesterday!
I went straight from her party to the hospital.
I visited for awhile & then Drake & I came home at bedtime.
Hoping Brody gets to come home today.....will keep you posted.

Have a great week!!
Love & Blessings-

Brody's "CHEESY" smile!

He got to put his jammies on today.
(Even though he still have his IV & all of the pads for monitors on his chest.)
He also got to walk holding onto our hand today too!
They are cutting back on his steriods- so hoping that will help his mood some.
He is a strong little boy!
He has been through alot lately.
He is just so darn sweet!
A true blessing!
Check out his "CHEESY' smile.
He is so ornery!
(Gosh- my dad would have LOVED him....they kinda act alike!)
Thanks for all of the prayers.....keep them coming as he continues his journey healing.
Photo: Someone is happy to be wearing his jammies this morning! :)

Hoping to venture home tomorrow!
Drake is homesick....feel so bad for him.
He misses his brother.
Twins just have that "bond"!
Brody sharing his Cheerios with Drake! :)
 They just LOVE EACH OTHER!
Pretty cool huh!

A 'Feel Good's scrapbook page

HI!
Wow- what a long week.
We spend the day at the hospital yesterday.
Brody had a rough night on Thursday night, but showed alot of improvement by last evening.
He still has a lot of healing to do.....but looked & acted so much better.
Dr. Menezes doesn't think he is in alot of pain now so is off of the morphine.
He is still on the steroids, antibiotics & tylenol or ibuprophen for the pain.
He isn't sleeping very well & is restless.
But over all he is quite the trooper & very happy.
Drake is home sick & misses his brother, mom & dad.
He stayed with us on Wednesday night & Thursday night.
Last night he stayed with his Papa & G'ma Seeley.
We are all hanging in there & feel truly blessed.
Our journey is not over by any means, but we feel we are headed on the uphill side of it.
Brody is sitting up & can hold his head up for quite awhile.
He did get fitted with a neck collar yesterday afternoon to help support his neck.
Thanks for your prayers & keep sending them as he continues to heal.
Manda is posting on her blog, so be sure to check it out.

I'm off this morning to Jo's house for her stampin' party!!
I'm looking forward to seeing her friends & stamping with them.
When I get home from her party this afternoon, Deke & I will be headed to Iowa City to the hospital to see Brody, Manda, Steve & Drake.

So the card that I posted the other day was a spin off of this scrapbook page.
I did these pages at Mary & Phyllis's workshops this week.
I realize that everyone doesn't scrapbook, so those gals that didn't got to make the card instead.
But isn't this cute though?

http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/DEMO_Best_of_Flowers_25th_Year_flyer_NA.jpg

LOOK what is NEW!

Photopolymer Stamps

We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.
What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.
