Another Halloween Treat!

This is a little 6x6 pieces of designer paper that I did the diaper fold & made for my Halloween Treats classes.

There is no adhesive used here to stick this together......just fold it & it holds.

It reminds me of a french fries box!

stamp set:  'Spooky Cat'
card stock:  Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie
designer paper:  Spooky Nights DSP
ink:  Black Memento
other:  Black Twine, Dimensionals, Everyday Label Punch, Glue Dot

I have done a few other projects with this fold & posted on my blog previously.
You can see those other projects by clicking on the 2 links I have below.
How did I do this?
Do you want to make one of these diaper fold treat holders?
Below are photos of how to fold it!

1.  6x6" designer paper
2.  Fold in half to form triangle.
3.  Fold top flap down & then lift back up for now.
4.  Fold right flap in to CENTER.
5.  Fold left flap in to CENTER.

6.  Fold top flap back downward
7.  Your treat holder is finished!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!

Another Halloween Treat- 'The Little Things'

I love this little Halloween Treats box......it is a triangle!

  • I took a 4 x8" piece of card stock
  • scored it in half the long side
  • marked it at the 2" in the middle of the short side
  • then diagonally scored from the 2" mark to the center fold
  • punched a couple of holes along the top edge on both short sides
  • added an 8" piece of ribbon to tie it shut
  • then decorated it.
4 x 8"- score as shown & listed above
Punch holes
fold
Here is a side view-
It has quite abit of space doesn't it!
Here is a top view.
And here is a close up of the little spider in the web, with a black rhinestone over him.  I had to fussy cut out the banner, as there isn't a framelit that goes with it.

stamp set:  'The Little Things'
card stock:  Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White
ink:  Archival Basic Black
marker:  Basic Black (to draw the black web line that the spider is dangling from)
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Circles Framelits (2 1/2" Circle), Starburst Punch, 2 " Circle Punch, Black Rhinestone, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Woven Ribbon, Retired Crop-a-Dile to punch holes

Yesterday was a busy day with kids......they were all here for a little while after school & we got to play on the swingset & enjoy the beautiful weather.

I burnt the midnight oil stamping!

This morning I'm off to take the twins to school, come home & spend my day with the Trey, Masen & Ainslee.

Tonight everyone is going racing in Memphis.  I'll be home alone, working on my October monthly class projects & patiently waiting to get text messages on updates from the races.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

Wow- I've had a busy week with kids, pigs & stamping.  I was exhausted last night when we got home.  The boys did great at their last flag football games.  Brayden was excited that his team won!  I worked on some stamping stuff for awhile & finally called it a night.  I'm not use to getting up a couple of times during the night to feed a baby.  I need some sleep.

Today I'll spend my day with the 3 littler ones & the 3 bigger ones will ride the bus here & be here tonight for awhile. Tonight when everyone is gone I'll be a stamping fool!  :)

Gotta run....
I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!!

We had a BUSY, LONG, HOT DAY yesterday.  After I took the twins to school, Trey & I ran errands- to the recycling center & the grocery store.  We then spent the rest of the day working on the farm, as the semi got here at 11:00.  Thankfully Deke had just gotten home his meeting.  Trey was our little farmer boy helping us & he was a trooper.  He helped & did a great job of being a big boy!!  We just love our baby piggies!!  They are just so stinkin' cute!

This morning I'm off to the Seeleys', will run the boys to school & head home to spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee.  Deke will be home to work on the farm all day!  The 2 Wood kids are staying with us tonight, as Nathan & Sarah are both gone for their jobs.  Sarah told me last night that Masen is all excited that he is having a slumber party at Grandma & Papa's.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was another busy day of stamping!!!  I enjoyed another awesome day of stamping with those attending my Halloween Treats class here at our home.  We all had a great time visiting & stamping & sharing together!!!

Last night the Seeley family brought out pizza for us to eat supper together.  Steve & Deke flew Steve's drone over our corn field, as the neighbors cows got into it & they were getting photos for the insurance company.  The boys had fun playing on the swing set.  We then went through the closets & found old Nintendo games for Steve & the boys to take home & play with.  I'm not sure who was more excited- Steve or the boys!

This morning I'm off to take the twins to school & Trey will spend his day with me.  Deke is off early to chore & then he has his weekly board meeting this morning.  He hopes to be home before noon, as we have baby piggies coming today!  Masen & Ainslee are going to their other grandma's for the day, as they aren't big enough yet to spend the whole afternoon/evening outside on the farm with me when I have to help Deke.  I hope Trey has fun getting to be the only little farmer helping us today.

Hoping today is a MARVELOUS Monday for you!!
Happy Stamping!

++++++++ Wow- we all had a great day of stamping together at my Hiawatha Halloween Treats Class.  It was great to see everyone & share!!  We had a big group & the day was pretty much perfect!  I put alot of time & hours into creating, cutting & planning so that things go smoothly!!  I am always so happy when everything just clicks & works out so good!  I'm so blessed that stamping has connected me with such great people to stamp with & share my love of stamping!

I want to send out a special thanks to Ruth for being my right hand at all of our Hiawatha classes, as I don't know what I'd do without her always there to help me with everything there.  And I am sending a special thanks to Andrea, Jenny & Teri for helping us clean up & load my car after the Halloween Treats class was over with!  They are usually my group that helps me at my N. Liberty Group each month & I also so appreciate them always being there too.  What is that old saying that my Grandma use to say- "Many hands make less work".  I have many other friends that help me at my different classes throughout the year & I appreciate & treasure each & every one of them!  I am truly blessed!

This morning I'm gearing up for my Halloween Treats Class that I'm having here at our home today.  I am looking forward to seeing those that are joining me & can't wait to share & stamp with them!

'Creep It Real'

It's a fun fold Halloween card using the 'Creep It Real' stamp set!!  This is another one of the cards I created for my upcoming Halloween Treats Classes.

This is a flat pop up card.  And I added the 3 spooky images along the front, bottom edge.
See how it pops up!

It is a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card & when it lays flat & it fits perfectly into our medium sized envelopes.

stamp set:  'Creep It Real'
card stock:  Eggplant Envy, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie
ink:  Archival Basic Black
other:  1" Circle Punch, Bow Builder Punch, Dimensionals, Tear & Tape
This is what it looks like from the top side when it is standing up.

I should have taken a photo of the back side.  I added a 4 x 4 1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock & repeatedly stamped the words- BOO on it.

It turned out cute don't you think!  There is room in the two little tunnels that you could put candy into them too.

+++++++
Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  Brayden & Drake had good football games.  Deke's sister, Darci came down to watch them- so that was nice to get to see her! When we got home I worked on stamping stuff all night.

Masen & Ainslee are here early this morning, so Deke will stay here with them & then go out to chore when I get back home.  I'm headed in to pick up the twins, take them to school & bring Trey back home with me.  School gets out early today too, due to the heat- so Brayden, Brody & Drake will all ride the bus home & be here about 1:30.

Tonight when the kids are all gone I'll be busy cutting card stock again!!

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

My "BOO" Banner!!

This is just so cute!!  It can hang on your wall!  Or it is even super cute just hanging on a doorknob too!

Detailed Gate Thinlits Dies- Halloween card

Here is a pretty cool new Halloween stamp set- 'Graveyard Gate' & coordinating thinlits dies- Detailed Gate!!  They are in the back of the Holiday Catalog on page 54 & can be purchased separately or as a bundle.  Check out how pretty & detailed this gate is.  Neat huh!  It doesn't just have to be for Halloween either.  Can't you just see a wreath hanging from it on a Christmas card?  Or a pot of flowers sitting next to it?  I can think of lots of other ideas & hope I have time in the coming weeks to get to play with this a little more.

This card is one of the Halloween card I created for my upcoming Halloween Treats classes.

The gate is taller, but I cut about 2" off of the bottom of it, so that I could have more of the spooky sky showing on my card front.
Oh- and I used the neat 'Marbled' background stamp to give the sky a swirly (spooky) look!

I also added bats & the gravestones (behind the fence).  And then the padlock on the gate is kinda neat too & finishes off the whole theme of the card.

stamp sets:  'Marbled' background, 'Graveyard Gate'
card stock:  Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Whisper White (for inside greeting), Silver Foil
ink:  Archival Basic Black, Smoky Slate
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Detailed Gate Thinlits Die, Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies (for the bat), 1 1/2" Circle Punch, Black Rhinestones, Dimensionals

It was late when I got home last night.  I stopped & got a few groceries & things on my way home from my stamp classes that I had.  My classes were great!!!  We all enjoyed our time stamping together.  And Loririe & Chris were great hostesses too!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to go pick up the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee.  I am praying that they all have a healthy week this week & we don't have to make any trips to the dr. with sick kids!

Tonight when the kids go home I'll be a card stock cutting fool!!!  I have LOTS of projects to get cut this week, for my upcoming Halloween Treats classes that I have this coming weekend.

Gotta run....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

And here is the whole thing from the front!!  I punched out the Witches Pot with the Everyday Label Punch.  And then I added that same punch to the top of the Test Tube Holder too!

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  And Ainslee was sick again.  Deke had a meeting yesterday morning, but thankfully he stayed home with the 2 littler boys in the afternoon & I just had to take one kid with me.  Ainslee's ear infection is cleared up, but she was running a temp & has a red throat & a little rash.  Her dr. said she thought it was just viral, so no meds.  We'll see.......she sure was a crab.  Poor baby!  You could tell that she didn't feel well at all.  We just can't win with having healthy kids lately!  Maybe next week will be our lucky week!  We need it- that is forsure.

So when the kids were gone last night I burnt the midnight oil stamping!!  I'm working on finishing up all of the projects for my upcoming Halloween Treats Classes that I am having next weekend.  They are all SO CUTE!!!  I will be sharing them here on my blog the next couple of weeks, so be sure you stop by the check them all out!

Today I'll be home all day (& hopefully alone).  Deke has power washing to get done in the grower & I have LOTS of card stock that I have to get cut.  Tomorrow is my monthly group in Hiawatha & I am looking forward to seeing everyone & spending my day there stamping with them.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

A sparkly 'Carols of Christmas'!

It is a sparkly Christmas card!!!  Check out the Gold Glimmer paper that I cut these trees out of!

I also used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate too!  It is a printed acetate & sure adds that special touch.  This acetate is gold on one side, but turn it over & it is silver on the other side.  That is pretty cool!

Don't you think it is elegant!

stamp set:  'Carols of Christmas'
card stock:  Night of Navy, Gold Foil, Gold Glimmer, Fabulous Foil Acetate
ink:  Versamark
other:  Embossing Buddy, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Card Front Builder Thinlits, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

'Painted Harvest'

I LOVE this stamp set!!  It is probably one of my very favorite ones in the Holiday Catalog.  It is called- 'Painted Harvest'!!!  It just has so much versatility!

CHECK out the card I made HERE using this exact same layout with 'Colorful Seasons' stamp set!
stamp set:  'Painted Harvest' & 'Burlap' Background
card stock:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Whisper White
ink:  Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede

other:  Jute Twine, Copper Ribbon, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

I made this card using the left over pieces from the 'Colorful Seasons' card I posted the link to above.  It is pretty cool to think that they are both very pretty cards, but look so differently.

Last month I offered card kits to those that purchased the 'Carols of Christmas' Bundle.  This month I'm offering card kits to those that purchase this 'Painted Harvest' Bundle- the stamp set & the Leaf Punch!

I have created another cute card using the 'Painted Harvest' stamp set for all of my monthly September classes.  I'll be posting it sometime later this week for you to see.

The Seeley boys went back to the doctor.  Drake is on some different meds.  I hope everyone else is on the uphill side!!!  Gosh- we've sure had our share of different cruds the past few weeks around here.

We went & voted for the school elections last night.  And then came home to finalize orders & went to bed early since we were up so early to sell hogs.  I had hoped to stamp, but that just didn't happen.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & he'll be heading to Mt. Pleasant to meetings all day.  I'm off to go pick up all of the kids for the day, take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee.

Tonight we'll be going to watch the boys play football.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

'Carols of Christmas'

Here is a Night of Navy, Whisper White & Silver card.  It is a really pretty card- especially in person, as the photo doesn't capture it well at all.

I used the Woodand Embossing Folder on the Night of Navy card stock- which looks really cool!

And then check out the glitter trees that I used with the Silver Glimmer Paper. I added a little strip of the Mini Silver Sequins too to give it some more dimension.
stamp set:  'Carols of Christmas'
card stock:  Thick Whisper White, Night of Navy, Whisper White Silver Foil, Silver Glimmer paper
ink:  Night of Navy
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Squares Framelits, Card Builder Front Thinlits, Silver Mini Sequins Trim, Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Yesterday Trey was still sick, but on the uphill side I think.  He kept everything down, ate & drank a little & slept alot!  I pray everyone stays healthy!  We've sure had our battle lately with sick kids.  And it isn't fun for any of us.

Last night was Grandparents PEO Spagetti Supper at the Elementary.  So Deke & I took the 3 older boys & went to it.  It was nice!!  They had Bingo to play & we played on the playground.  We then took Brayden to football practice & stopped to buy the Seeley boys slushies on the way home.

I placed orders from my weekends classes & connected with my hostesses last night.  It was a short night of sleeping, as this morning I'm a farmer!  Deke & I are up at 4 am to mark, sort & load hogs again!!!  I'll then come in, shower & go take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee again.  Tonight I hope to get to stamp some before calling it a night!!!!

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
