A Halloween Treat!!

Here is one of the bags for my Halloween Treats class.  It turned out really cute!  And is the perfect size to hold some treats in.  I love the closure part of it.

stamp set:  'Halloween Treat'
card stock:  Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
designer paper:  Halloween Nights Specialty DSP  (12x12)
ink:  Archival Basic Black
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Oval Framelits, Halloween Night Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Measurements:
Black card stock= 6x6". Score along 2 outside edges (across from each other) at 1". Turn & score at 2 1/2" & 3 1/2". Snip flaps to fold into box.

I added a 2 1/2" Circle (folded in half) for the top flap.

DSP= 3 3/4" x 2 1/4".

Here are a couple of photos to show you where I scored, cut & put adhesive on it.

+++++++
It was a busy day with the boys yesterday.  Ben's little girl (Acea) was here for awhile too.  Laughing- we aren't quite sure what to do with little girls around here!  She is adorable & was really good though.  Acea & Masen are only a few days apart in age.  It was fun to what them plan together.

Brayden did good at his game last night.  The weather was great!

We worked on things outside when we got home last night.  I'm hoping Ben gets the brick all done tomorrow.  We'll then just have the mess to clean up & all of the 'little' things to finish up on it then next week.

After we had supper last night & I got dishes done- I burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff.

This morning I'm off to pick up all of the boys for the day.  We have some errands to run this morning & I'm hoping we can play outside.  Tonight when they go home I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting card stock.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs-
SUSIE

  1. Susie, this bag is so cute. I am looking for something like this for my granddaughters class treat. Can you share how to make it or direct me to where I can find them? Thanks.

  2. Deb, I am doing this bag for my Halloween Treats classes next weekend. I don't have all of the measurements written down. I will be cutting supplies next week. I will post the measurements & more information on this bag after my classes. Glad you like it! It is an original. I thought it turned out super cute too!
