Having lost both of her parents at an early age Judy was raised by her aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Lloyd Little. She was a 1970 graduate of Tri-County High School before attending Ottumwa Heights Community College where she received a degree in Business Administration. Judy was united in marriage to Stephen Hopping on May 4, 1984 at the Methodist Church in Thornburg. Judy was not one to set around, even in ill health so she continued working with Two Rivers Bank in Coralville for several years until her health no longer allowed it. She loved her Stamping Up card making and all the friends she made during the classes.
