Watercoloring with 'Vivid Vases'

Good morning!
I LOVE this stamp set......I did the first time I laid eyes on it.
I have used it many times in workshops over the past few months.....
and I'm excited to say that it is going to be carried over
& available to purchase in the upcoming new 2014-2015 Main Catalog!
Yipee!!
This was one of the technique cards everyone did at m Spring STYC last weekend.
The watercolor paper is amazing!
And it just makes the images pop off the page!

WOW!
What a busy day yesterday back in the swing of things with the boys!
They are so sweet!
We had a fun day together getting ready for Brayden's birthday party that we had last night.
We had a few of Brayden's favorite things- walking tacos, strawberries,
watermelon & chocolate sheet cake.
He got a big motor controlled monster truck from the Seeley family
& the boys all had a blast playing with that.
We gave him money & we'll go shopping together after we get home to pick him
out something he wants.

Today I'm headed to pick up the boys & run a few errands.
Then back home for the day with them.
I will be headed to Osky tonight to deposit our hog check & get a few groceries.
Then home to sort stamp orders, work on swaps & get more things from STYC put away.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

A cool photo of Nathan in his stock car!

'Oh Hello'

Good morning!
Here is a pretty shadow stamping card.
I stamped the darkest image first, then the middle one & the the last one.
I did not re-ink my stamp in between each stamped image-
thus getting lighter images when stamped each time.
Cool huh!
I will update this post with the supply list soon.

WOW- what a fun day yesterday was!
26 of us- my Iowa Inkers Team & side-line demonstrators went
to Des Moines to the 2014 Stampin' Up! New Catalog Premiere.
It was an awesome event.
And I enjoyed getting to be there with so many demonstrators in my team.

Here is a photo of the front of the upcoming New Stampin' Up! Catalog!

I am off to get the twins this morning & spend the day with them.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Just for you....

Good morning!!
Here is a beautiful card that everyone made at my Spring STYC.
It was inspired by the tips on page 23 of our Stampin' Up! Catalog.
You just drag your ink pad over the card stock to create this awesome background & then stamp the 'World Map' background stamp over it in a darker color!
I LOVE IT!!

AND.....
The layout was also inspired by a card that my dear demonstrator friend LeeAnn Greff created.
We chat often & share our ideas back & forth & I so treasure this.

Deke & I will be "sailing away" next week on our Stampin' Up! trip
& we're so looking forward to spending alot of time with LeeAnn & her husband Andy!
We can't wait to see them & SO MANY of your other SU! family too!
It is awesome that our hubbies look forward to seeing our SU! family as much as we do.
As I know that we keep in the loop with many of them on FB
& it is going to be awesome to see many of them in person next week.
All Stampin' Up! events are amazing- but it is our connection with our
SU! family is what makes it the best!

'Open Sea' 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' & 'Old World Map'
cs:  Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla
ink:  Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake, Marina Mist
supplies:  Fancy Flower punch (3 attached together to make the clouds), Chevron Ribbon, Burlap ribbon (shredded for the ribbon), Word Window Punch, dimensionals, glue dots, Paper Snips

Manda & Steve have a dr appointment today for baby Seeley & they are taking the twins with them.
The boys are excited to get to hear their baby brothers heartbeat & see Dr. Hunter.
I can't wait to hear all about it tomorrow when I go get them tomorrow morning.

So since G'ma has the day off I'm headed to Des Moines to the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Catalog Preview event with many of my downline & side-line demonstrators.
I think there are 25 in our group that will gather for this event together.
We are all excited!!
I know it will be awesome!
I was up all night working on my swaps & can't wait to share them & see what everyone else does for their swaps.
This SU! event is just another perk of being a SU! demonstrator.
If you'd like to be able to join me for fun things like this-
I'd love to have you join my 'Iowa Inkers' team too!

What a whirl wind of a weekend I had!
My Spring Stamp 'Til You Cramp was a huge success.
But it was also tons of work.
I spent many hour planning, preparing & creating everything to make it an awesome day.
I spent the whole day yesterday cleaning up the hall I rented though.
Bless my Aunt Kathy for coming to help me for about 5 hours yesterday afternoon.
She has been a blessing & wonderful helper this past week as I prepared for this big event.
My downline & dear friend Judy was also a blessing
& helped do some of my Big Shot cutting for me too.
I couldn't have done it all without their help.
Thanks to everyone for a great day of stamping & letting me share my love with each of you!!
Mark October 25th, 2014 on your calendar now
& plan to join me for my Fall Stamp 'Til You Cramp event!

Ok.....gotta run......lots to do yet before we head to Des Moines.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

 +++++++++++++++
Hello!
Last week if you read my blog you heard me mention that I spent many hours working
on Maddison's graduation invitations.
Here are some of the piles I had as I was putting them together.
We originally were going to put a graduation photo on the front.
But the photos they got were going vertically instead of horizontally.
So I went to plan B & this is what I ended coming up with.
This is a tri-fold card.
I typed & printed the "Class of 2014" of the computer & then cut them to size.
I used the SAB embossing folder- Decorative Dots on the top flap.
I LOVE this folder & it will be available for purchase in the new catalog in June.
And I stamped the graduation cap & scroll on the inside from 'Pomp & Circumstance'.
The Crushed Curry & Basic Black are Sigourney School colors.

I have been stamping, stamping & stamping!
This is going to be a killer of week getting everything ready for my Spring Til You Cramp
that is on Saturday!
This big stamp camp is a techniques card class.
And I've got LOTS of cool cards created to share with everyone joining me.

Spring Break is over with & my boys will be back this morning!
I'm looking forward to seeing them.
Deke has a meeting this afternoon.

Tonight I'm a farmer helping Deke on our farm.

When I get back in the house I'll be a busy bee stamping some more.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Step By Step on how to do these labels.....

Good morning!
I've had a few of you ask how & what these labels are.
Below is the steps & supplies I used when creating this pretty card with 'Happy Watercolor'.
These are the labels that I used.
 1.  I stamped the image onto the label sheet.
 2.  I colored the flowers using my Pink Pirouette marker.
 3. I then peeled the back side, approx. 1"- like shown above.
 4.  I lined up the edges of the labels to a piece of card stock that measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".
NOTE:  Be sure to leave them all together & attach to the card stock piece all at one time!
You do not have to stick down each label individually.
5.  I made sure that the labels were straight & pressed down good onto the card stock & then carefully pulled the backing piece off & pressed down the labels as I went.
Thus they are all stuck onto the card stock at one time- not individually.
6.  Finished pressing the labels all down to the card stock.
NOTE: If you get the labels crooked you can carefully pull the labels back off of the card stock, as long as you do it right away & reposition them each individually then.
 7.  You are done!
COOL HUH!

There is no school in Sigourney today, as it is their Easter break- which means I don't have the twins.
So I'm sorting & bagging stamp orders this morning & then getting my hair cut right after lunch.
Tonight is my normal stamp delivery run, so I'll be doing that too.
I have a list a mile long of things to do in the next 8 days.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!
