One year ago today...... 2/28/13

This was what we were doing 1 year ago today!
Our little guy (Brody) had his 2nd surgery.
WOW- amazing how blessed we are.....

And look at him today- 1 year later!
Quite the little cheezzzer!
He is such a normal, smart & happy little guy!
A true blessing in our life!
He is precious!!!

A beautliful birthday card!

Good morning!
Here is a beautiful birthday card that my dear friend & demonstrator

Judy Hopping made for me.
She cased it from demonstrator Becky Roberts.
Isn't it stunning!
 I love the fold!
It is similar to one that I'll be doing at my March workshops using the
Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
I will update this post with a supply list sometime soon.

Yesterday was crazy!
Deke was gone all day to meetings.
Brody had a fever- so I went to Manda's house in the morning to get them.
I took him to the dr in the afternoon &
Manda met me there after she got off of work.
He has strep throat & got an antibiotic.

Brayden is sick too & his mom took him to the dr.
He has a bad cough & is on steroids for 4 days.
Thus he didn't get to go to his Elementary program.
Which is a bummer that we all were sad about.
So Papa went to another meeting in Fairfield last night
& I spent the evening doing bookwork.

I hope both boys are better soon.
And I'm praying that Drake doesn't get sick.

Today will be another busy one & the boys will be with us.
Our taxes are done, so we are headed to pick them up at our CPA's,
as farmers taxes are to be filed by 3/1 (tomorrow).
We will run some errands too while we are in town this morning.
Maybe we can talk Papa into eating lunch at McDonalds??
Then Nathan & Brayden will be here tonight.

I have LOTS of stamping to do in the next 2 days....so hope I get to stamp tonight.
I hope I have good mojo & all of my ideas just click.
Woo Hoo- I have a workshop on Sunday & Deb is my hostess.
I am looking forward to sharing lots of fun new things with all of the gals.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

NEW CIRCLE MONOGRAM PERSONALIZED STAMPS!

Personalized name stamp CM1743B
Woo Hoo!!
I'm VERY excited to be sharing a brand new product that
I think you are going to LOVE with a capital "L"!
It's so versatile for anyone, not just for stampers!
It's The New Circle Monogram Personalized Stamp!
Circle monogram 132852G
Completely customize this all-clear, photopolymer stamp with your own info.
Use it for stamping cards, letters, labels, gifts, thank-you notes—whatever you want!

The Circle Monogram Stamp is item #132852 and fits the Clear Block B.
It also coordinates with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch for easy punching!
How To Customize Your Stamp
When you select the item at my My Online Store, this window pops up, allowing you to play with the words you want to use and see a preview of the results immediately!
You can customize four fields:
  • First Name Field—The text that flows around the top part of the circle.
  • Last Name Field—The text in the box.
  • Monogram—The monogram letter(s) in the center.
  • Address, City, State, Zip Field—The smaller text that flows around the bottom of the circle.
Tips On Customizing
Here are a few things that may help you.
  • The fonts and design of the stamp is set and can't be changed.
  • You can type as many characters as you want into the fields, they will just get skinnier and less readable.
  • Try upper and lower case letters to change the look and spacing.
  • You can use any "alt" codes to create fun characters in the text around the circle, but not as the monogram or in the last name box.
 Examples: "Alt+3" is a ♥. "Alt+14" is ♫.
You can find more "alt" codes at altcodes.net.
You must have text in all fields, no leaving a field blank.

Good morning!
Here is another card that I did at Marsha's party on Sunday.
I saw the layout for this card on Pinterest- but that card was Basic Black & Daffodil Delight.
So I changed the colors & came up with this creation.
I will update this post with a supply list later.

Deke is gone all day again today to meetings.
I went to Manda's this morning to get the boys.
We have a sick little boy.
Brody has a 103* temp, not sleeping, not eating & says his head hurts.
So I'm taking him to the Dr this afternoon.
Dr. Mary is booked so we get to see Sam today.
Guess we'll do lots of cuddling & book reading.
Poor little guy!!

Deke & I are excited as Brayden has an elementary program tonight that we'll be going to.
Can't believe our little man is getting so big!

Gotta run......
Hope you have a wonderful Thursday!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

Lots of Sale-a-bration to CELEBRATE with here!

Good morning!
This birthday card is one that everyone made at Marsha's party.
I think that it was a favorite of several of the girls there.
I was inspired by a card that my dear demonstrator friend LeeAnn Greff made
when I was creating this card.

Wow- we had a late night last night on the farm.
It was after 10 when we got in.
And then had to shower & make supper.
We were both tired, sore & cold.
But got alot done- so that is good.

Deke is gone to meetings all day today.
So it will just be me & the boys here all day.
They will be here early, as Manda has an early meeting today.

I hope to get to do some stamping done tonight!
As of now I think I'm going to be home!

Gotta run.....

Weekly Deals- Feb 25-Mar 3, 2014

Deke & me- with our 3 boys!

Manda took this photo of us last Monday night when everyone was here for supper.

What a long winter we have had!

My mom & Aunt Virginia came down yesterday & spent the morning visiting the twins & me.
Mom brought me a yummy angel food cake (my favorite) for my belated birthday.
She had originally planned to come last Monday, but we had the snow-
so we post-poned it.
I'm glad they came.
I enjoyed getting to see them.
Then-
Nathan & Brayden were here last night to visit & have supper.
It was an eventful evening as my kitchen sick drain plugged....
& thankfully I have a husband with many traits & he tore it apart,
ran a snake drain cleaner it in & got it unplugged!
BLESS HIM!
So our evening hours were consumed with this, but we are thankful it is now fixed.

Tonight I'm a hog farmer helping Deke.
We will sell a load of hogs & then spend the rest of the night moving pigs- so that Deke will be able to finish powerwashing the nurseries & getting ready for our new babies to come in a couple of weeks.
We will have a late night.

Gotta run....my boys will be here soon.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!

Don't these colors go so together!
Check out the flower using scraps of the designer paper & the Petite Petals punch.

Thank goodness we didn't get tons of snow.

I'm meeting with my sister-in-law Pattie after work to figure out
my niece Maddie's graduation invites.
Then Susie's Hair Hut is open for business, as Deke needs a hair cut!
AND hopefully Brody & Drake cooperate to get theirs cut tonight too!

Sweet Baby!

Good morning!
Here is a sweet baby card that I made last night for some very dear friends of ours
that just had another baby boy last week.
He looks precious in the photos I've seen of him & can't wait to meet him in person.

As many of you know, Crumb Cake is one of my favorite colors
& as hard as I tried to not use it- I just couldn't resist.
And of course I used one of my favorite stamp sets too- 'Gorgeous Grunge'!
That is a stamp set that is so versatile & works for all kinds of styles of cards!
'Baby, We've Grown', 'Simply Stars' & 'Gorgeous Grunge'
cs:  Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Whisper White
ink:  Crumb Cake, Marina Mist
marker:  Marina Mist
supplies:  Paper Snips & Dimensionals

It looks like we are in for another snow storm today that is heading our way.
I pray that it doesn't hit us hard.
There are lots of unconfirmed reports on how much snow we'll be getting this round.
It is already raining/sleeting now as I'm posting this.
What oh what will it be like in a few hours?
And Spring is how many days away?????

I'm planning to enjoy my day with the boys today.
Papa will be home to eat lunch with us for a change!
They both really need hair cuts- so maybe we'll get that accomplished too.

(weather permitting)
Deke has another meeting tonight.
So while he is there I am going to go to town to some friends home for abit to
use their shop & clean out my car.
Then hopefully I will be home in time to do some more stamping.
Oh my- I have LOTS to do!

I hope you have a great Thursday!
Happy Stamping!
