New Possibilities for the Clearance Items.....

YIPEE....you can now order from the clearance rack on a workshop order!!!  See the below post from SU!

June 28, 2013
Until now, clearance items have been limited to demonstrator and online orders to ensure that product was available at the time of purchase. When the Hostess Code was introduced, it became possible to add clearance items and to have them included on workshop orders. To make it even easier to add clearance items to any type of order, we have lifted the ban on placing clearance items on workshop orders.

Here is another scrapbook layout!

Woo Hoo!!!
Today is the day!
My big annual scrapbooking class is finally here!!
I have several ladies coming to join me at our home for the day to scrap.
I have 20 awesome pages (10- 2 page spreads) created for them to re-create.
They will go home with completed pages to add their photos to.

The page that I posted yesterday is probably my favorite one.
(Although I do like them all!!)
And this page is probably a super close 2nd to being my favorite.
Flags (or banners) as some people call them are really popular now.
And I love them on cards.
And I've used alot of them on several of the pages I created for this scrapbooking class.

'Feel Goods'
cs:  Sahara Sand, Island Indigo, Pool Party  & Tangerine Tango
dp:  2013 Sale-a-bration pkg.
supplies:  Big Shot, Tasteful Trim Bigz XL die, Circles Framelits, Window Framelits, dimensionals, Paper Snip

We will be having walking tacos, crispix bars, watermelon & more.
The tables are all set up & I have all of projects out on them.
I am just about ready for everyone when they get here.
I'm gonna have a fun day......hope you do too!

This is a HUGE accomplishment!
AND I'm so proud of her!
She will be going with me to convention in a few weeks.

I still have 4 of the left to create & 6 of them then to cut.
I hope to get some more creating & cutting done today.
I have to work on my convention presentation though & get things sent to Donna-
so that is high on my priority list to do today too.

Tonight we will be off to the races in Osky to cheer on Nathan!
I wish him loads of luck!
He has been on a roll!
So I'm looking forward to spending the evening with Manda & all 3 of my boys!

Here is a sneak peek.......

Here is a sneak peek at some of the pages I've been creating for my
upcoming annual scrapbooking class that I have on Saturday!
I have several ladies coming to our home to spend the day scrappin' with me
& I can't wait!

With my coffee cup in my hand, I'm headed back out to my studio now to create a few more pages & then start the cutting process.

Tonight I'm a farmer & will be helping Deke.
We sell hogs, but are not sure what time we load yet, as it is gonna be a hot one today!
Hopefully it will cool down nicely, so that it is bearable for us to mark, sort & load them & for the piggies on their ride, so that we don't loose any of them.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!
(Or guess I should say- Happy Scrappin' this week!)

Red, White & Blue 'Simply Stars'!

Good morning!!
Today I'm thinking Red, White & Blue Stars.....
and that is perfect timing with the 4th of July being just around the corner.
I'm off to my friend Cathy's for about an hour this morning
& we are going to paint pallets & make them into a flags.
I'll get a picture of them when we are done & share.
Our friends MaryLee & Bonnie painted some for themselves earlier this week
& we decided we wanted some too!

And along the same lines as the flags we are going to be painting-
here is a cute card that I made this week for a monthly swap that I'm in.
It is a different fold easel card.

ink:  Night of Navy
supplies:  Scoring Tool, Big Shot, Stripes Embossing folder, XL Oval punch, Merry Minis punch pack (star), 2 1/2" Circle punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, dimensionals

Yesterday we had our first SKYPE rehearsal for our convention presentation.
How exciting!
I am working with an awesome group of other demonstrators & employees at Stampin' Up!
This new venture it totally out of my comfort zone- so I'm hoping I do a good job at it.

Nathan bought Brayden a used racing 4-wheeler a couple of years ago from our friend Terry.
He is finally big enough this year to drive it by himself.
So yesterday was a pretty proud day for all of us.
I can't believe that he is getting this big!
And I love the helmet that his Papa Mark bought for him.
And the time spent with is his daddy is priceless!
They were both smiling from ear to ear.

The guys went to Columbus Junction racing last night & Nathan WON!
They are racing in Bloomfield tonight- but don't know if they will be going or not.
Brayden was excited as he got to go to the pits again last night with all of the guys.
I stayed home & put away things from this months classes & stamped!
I am praying for good mojo as I have LOTS of creating to do within the next 7 days!
Wish me luck!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!

Check out these 3 boys & these 3 flowers using the 'Flower Shop' set & coordinating punch!

Hello!!
Here is a cute picture of all 3 of our boys from earlier this week- playing in the park!
We were enjoying the beautiful summer day & having a blast together!
(Brody, Drake & Brayden)

Today I'm going to share a cute card that I made using some more new products!
Check out this awesome new set & coordinating punch!
And don't you just LOVE these new colors of card stock!

If you placed an order with me last month for my Anniversary Sale Special you'll be getting this card in the mail sometime soon!!
I have them all cut- just need to find time to put them together & address the envelopes.

Yesterday was a crazy day!
Deke went to the office & then I met him & we attended the funeral of
a co-worker from the courthouse- Jesse Hornback.
He was an amazing young man (35) & it is just heart breaking to loose him.
Then we were home to eat a quick bite.
Deke mowed the yard & ground feed, chored, etc.
I made a Texas Sheet Cake for Deke's birthday
(that I took & shared with our friends at the races tonight).
And I worked on my presentation for convention-
as we have our first rehearsal on Friday by SKYPE!
I am excited about it & hope that I can help teach & inspire other demonstrators when they hear it.
Then off to the races we went & enjoyed a beautiful night with family & friends there.
It was a LATE night!
Nathan started at the back of his heat & didn't make the invert.
So started almost at the back of his main (16th) & finished 11th I think.
The guys worked late in the shop when we got home- as they are headed to Donnellson tonight.
Brayden got to go with us to the races last night & stayed over night.
Everyone enjoyed Deke's birthday cake!

Deke is home on the farm all day today.
AND I'm stamping in my studio all day!
I have the above cards to finish so they can be mailed out
& then I have lots of scrapping to do!
YIKES- my big scrapbooking class is only 8 days away!!
I will be staying home tonight too (not racing).
I have a downline that is coming to our home & we'll be placing her first order!
I'm also going to help her in designing wedding shower invites for her niece.
Fun! Fun!

I hope you have a special Thursday!!!
Happy Stamping!

A cool 'By the Tide' card.....

Good morning!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!
We had a nice, but really busy weekend.
I didn't get much stamping done except for the Father's Day card that I shared yesterday.
So today I'm sharing a cool card that I took a picture of on our display board in Fiji.
I have no clue who created this card- but she did an awesome job!
I love the way the coloring was done.
I assume it is stamped with Black Stazon onto watercolor paper & then colored by squishing the ink pads & coloring with aqua painter.
But I honestly don't know- I'm just guessing.

We enjoyed a busy afternoon/evening yesterday with our kids here for supper & playing outside.
Brayden learned to hit the ball off the "T" really good.
He should be a good ball player as his mom & Uncle Bryce are very good ball players!
Brayden ended up talking his dad into letting him stay all night.
We are getting ready for breakfast here soon.
He has his first swim lessons this morning, so that is new & exciting!
I am hoping it works out for us to meet Aunt Manda & the twins & play in the park afterwards.

Papa is choring now & will be headed to the office today for meetings.
Guess the guys will have a late night in the shop.
I'm off on my stamp delivery run this evening.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

Happy Father's Day!!

Here is a quick guy card that made last night for Father's Day!
I am really liking the new Smoky Slate Neutrals color.

Today is a bitter sweet day........
Today is not only Father's Day, but it is also my dad's birthday.
AND it is also the 7th anniversary of his death.
So today is a very sad day too!
OH how we MISS MY DAD SO MUCH!
He was an amazing man!
He knew everyone, he could fix anything, he was hard working, he loved to have fun- laughing & smiling all of the time, he was an avid racing fan of Nathan's
& he was always there for us- anytime we needed anything!
He would have LOVED all of our little boys- Brayden, Brody, Drake
& my great nephew Lawson.
It is so sad that they never got to know him.
But they all know him by his picture & because we talk about him often.
Brayden knows alot about his Papa John.
He know what kind of foods my dad liked, what his favorite color was, some of his favorite songs & sayings, etc, etc, etc.....
I love it when Brayden talks about Papa John.
It just melts my heart!
(This photo was taken at the races 3 days before my dad died.)
So today is a CELEBRATION for all of the dad's out there.
We are thankful for the dads in our lives-
my Dad, Deke, Nathan, Steven, my Uncle Jerry, my step father Dick
& my father-in-law David.

Last night Deke & I took my Aunt Virginia out for supper as she will be celebrating a birthday soon.
Then Manda, Steve & the twins came out to visit us.
Today I'm going to do some cleaning & bookwork.
Then our kids are coming here to eat supper with us!
Yeah- we got Deke a new grill, as our old one is literally rusted out & falling apart.
So we'll be cooking marinated tenderized ham steaks on it.
 Yum- Yum!

I hope you enjoy your day by either spending it with the special dads in your life
or remembering your dad on this special dad's day!

Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

It is great that he is spending the time with his dad & both Grandpa's, plus Uncle Steve & Josh too.

A fun 'Chalk Talk' card

Good morning!
Here is another quick post.
I'll update this with a supply list at another time.
Been a crazy week......
Took Brody to the dr yesterday & he does have ear infection & tonsillitis.
His dr put him on some high powered meds, so hoping he is eating & sleeping better soon.
This card was created by my demonstrator friend Christy Kimball for our downline meeting swap.
Isn't it FUN!
Love of punches & textures going on in this modern style card.
She used the new set- 'Chalk Talk' & the coordinating framelits for it!
Isn't it neat how she used all of the squares!

The guys all raced last night & us girls stayed home.

I did paper work all night long, for over 6 hours & I'm still not caught up yet!
Nathan got 6th (started 7th).
Deke said it was a rough track & no passing
Bummer, but at least he didn't get torn up.

They are going racing again tonight- but again- us girls are staying home.
Hopefully they have better luck tonight.
I am hoping to spend my night stamping in my studio!
Woo Hoo!

Today is another early day with the boys.
I'm headed to the Seeley home soon, so Manda doesn't have to wake them up too early.
Brody slept all night!!!
Meds are amazing!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

Here is a super cute Washi Tape card.......

Good morning!
Here is a super cute Washi Tape card that my demonstrator friend- Sally Davis made for our downline meeting.
It uses the new This & That Washi Tape.
Making a candle with it is such a cleaver idea.

I will type up a supply list sometime.
We had a late night of racing last night & an early start to our morning with the boys here all day.
Manda has classes all day today & tomorrow.

Have a great Thursday!
Happy Stamping!
